Kuhn River is an excellent place to go for manis and pedis. The only challenge sometimes is that they have few staff, so you may have to wait or come back. The last two times I have been in, I’ve had the same lady…she does a great job. The only complaint I have is that she works very fast….I paid for a 50 minute pedicure that she finished in 35 minutes! Otherwise, great place, very clean and friendly staff!

I decided to have my nails removed and decided to have them “professionally” removed. I should have just bit them off like usual, they wouldn’t be as ruined as they are now. They took that drill to take them off and went WAY deep into my nail bed and made them way weaker than they should be. They just needed to take the acrylic off, not my NATURAL nail. If I go anywhere for nails, I won’t be going there.

This is the second time I have been here...and let me tell you. I'm not even from this area. And this is now my chosen place to come whenever I am in town! I had Mrs. Tiffany both times and she is the Sweetest most Darling soul I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in this environment. I have had horrible experiences at Nail&Spa places so I have been afraid to continue to go. I heard a lot of good things about this place, and I read a lot of bad reviews about it but decided to take a chance on it anyway! Everyone has their own experience and you start the mood of everything you enter yourself

Hahahaha. So I am from New Braunfels, born and raised. I've always gone to the same 2 nail salons and figured I'd have a new one a try today. Chose the one with the most review with 4/5 stars. I figured I'd give Kuhl a try. But BOY WAS I WRONG. So I call ahead to see if they were busy, they weren't so I went in got seated and they started on my nails right away. Don't go here ! I had a 9:45 appointment and when I got there the door was locked no one was there as I'm getting truck someone finally pulled up I got back out and went it I was scheduled for a mani and pedi . 2 and a half hours later I finally had to say please just finish painting I have to leave . There is waves in the paint and a thick layer of clear coat all over the top of my finger tip on the skin .

I drove into NB from Canyon Lake having made an appt for a shellac pedi, on a Saturday no less. The manager was nice and I waited only a few minutes, even though I arrived at least ten minutes early. My experience was great, and the salon was clean, and large enough that it felt not crazy or too crowded. Everyone who worked there was very nice and my pedi was well done.

Best pedicure I've had in a long time! Me and my husband went here when we had some time to kill before a wedding and it was a great decision. We got hot stone pedicures, which are very reasonably priced and received wonderful treatment with long massages that were probably 30 min total between the scrub, stones and lotion. Staff was extremely nice and my shellac was applied beautifully. I wish we lived in the area because I would definitely make this my go to spot!

I called mid-morning on a Saturday and had an appointment for later that day for a full set of dip with tips. My tech, Emily, was absolutely amazing. Her attention to detail and natural conversation flow was much appreciated. They are also extremely sanitary; I was instructed to wash my hands when I arrived and when I left. For the dip powder, they portion the powder into a cup and drizzle it onto your finger, instead of dipping finger into main container.
I will 100% be back. My nails are PERFECT. Thank you, Emily!!!!

I've tried a few places since moving here last may- Sade to say, I've found it! Truly a hidden gem in new braunfels. I made an appointment the day before by phone and showed up 15 minutes early and was sat right away.
Loved the nail techs Mike (added tips with dip nail) and Connie (basic pedicure with gel polish). So fun and conversational in a good way. The place is very clean and they are taking all Covid precautions. Chairs are skipped, clear barriers are put up between you and the tech and they were even making you your own dip powder cup for your manicure- so you aren't sharing

Instead of dipping your fingers into the dip powder jar that everyone else does, they portion out the dip powder into a separate little cup. Then they use only that portion of the dip powder for your nails.

Paid 27 dollars for a pedicure and the lady that did it ONLY put “sugar scrub” on my legs and feet and was done. She was about to apply the nail polish and I told her no, that I would go somewhere else. Paid 75 dollars for my nails and NOT what I expected at all. Was in there for 2.5 hours. I definitely will NOT be going back for a pedicure, however, I would like to give Michael another try for the nails.

First timer and Connie did my nails.. They came out AMAZING.. She was very helpful and patient with me as it's been a long while since I got nails done. She's very knowledgeable and explained everything to me.… When getting my nails done she took her time and conversation was great. Not the awkward silence. May have found my new nail place..
