A little about me.my journey began in 1997 when I became licensed in massage therapy and opened my first studio in the King William District, south of downtown San Antonio.
My love for anatomy continued with additional education in many different modalities to treat cancer patients, chronic pain, stress and prenatal massage in a relaxing setting - eventually landing me a nine year contract with Baptist Health Systems offering the first postpartum program of this kind within a hospital setting.

Continuing education shouldn't be just about "clocking in the hours" that TDLR requires, it should be about expanding your knowledge, enhancing your experience and continuously adapting to the expectations of the beauty industry!
As seasons change, during hormonal changes, or more frequently if you have troubled skin. Once a month is highly beneficial for all skin types but can administered as often as weekly without damaging the skin. Alternative treatments such as peels and microdermabrasion can be administered as often as two, three and four weeks apart (depending on what we are treating).
There are several ways to book your appointment, On-Line or by Telephone. Both will require a credit card or Gift Certificate number to book and hold the time you are requesting for your appointment(s). We accept all major credit cards. Place nice clean, staff very professional n helpful with questions. This month we will see how skin is in a month. I have notice a bit difference in my skin pigmentation from sun spots. Have lighten gradually, I need to continue with treatment to see a major difference. I believe my skin has gradually improve. Very happy with staff and in answering my questions n suggestions. This was such a wonderful experience!! Everyone was so kind and professional. Although we started late it made all the difference that Neva was apologetic and acknowledged me and let me know that I would still get my full time. The service itself was amazing. I can’t wait to come back!

I've been coming here for about 2-3 years and normally facials are a big splurge for me because it's not cheap; however, I'd gladly spend my hard earned cash here any time. The staff is ALWAYS so welcoming and nice. Never have I ever had a horrible experience with anyone here. The owner, Neva is so sweet and is taking Covid very serious and being extra cautious. Never did I once feel unsafe or consider the place unsanitary.

I am a reasonable person and do not like to write bad reviews but felt the need to for this salon. This was my first time getting eyelash extensions and I had a horrible experience. I was in pain the entire hour and half, Neva (the owner) was my technician and she never explained what she was doing nor did she ever ask if I was okay although I kept squirming (due to back pain from being forced to lay in the same position for over and hour without moving and eye pain from the session). I have a very high pain tolerance so I just stayed quiet after she dismissed me when I kept telling her something

Friendly staff and masseuse. Very relaxing environment even though it's in downtown. I booked the pregnancy massage (so this review is specific to that). It was reasonably priced. I'm more of a deep tissue/shiatsu massage gal which is hard to find in Texas. They took me on time and worked on some of my upper back and trapezius muscle issues. It seems harder to get to certain areas due to the inability to lay on my stomach but I would definitely recommend it for pregnant women.

They don't offer any sort of reminder mechanism that you have an appointment. The only reminder will be an email that that you will receive 2 days prior to your appointment. That's very easy to miss or forget. Other spas have the good sense to send a text message reminder 1 hour prior to your appointment. If you miss your appointment, you will be charged anyway. This spa hasn't been engineered for busy people with busy lives. Spend your money elsewhere.

I was referred to this place by a friend of mine that sits on the Tobin Hill community committee and how I wish my experience would have been different. I had initially called to book a same day appointment of which I was super excited for. I got a call back a few minutes later that they had made a mistake and had to cancel the appointment. Mind you, this place Neva has a "24 hour cancellation policy" where they will charge you the full service in case you miss the appointment within 24 hours. I've been going to another spa for the last several months but I returned as my hubby had purchased a gift certificate for me.
I was quickly reminded that business has no specific reserved parking areas for clients as the street was filled on a Friday and was told I needed to move my car from the front lot as my car would be towed.
I returned to the salon, I was greeted by a polite receptionist but required to fill out another client intake form that I had filled out within the last year. This delayed the start of my massage, the rationale was "we require these every 6 months since

Whenever I schedule a massage I would normally always schedule here since I knew I would be getting a good massage especially considering the price is so much lower than other establishments. This time, however, my most recent experience has been a pain in my backside to say the least, I schedule an appointment online since the office was closed but when Im constantly receiving error messages over and over again saying that the appointment could not be made due to time conflict. I receive no type of notification to confirm and I even check my bank statement and no payment had been processed. I

I was very pleased with the service here at Neva Face Spa. I had a remarkable, blissful, and fun time here and will for sure be a regular. I was also impressed with how easy and organized it was to schedule an appointment, most other spas are overbooked and very unorganized when it comes to scheduling appointments. Neva Spa makes it very easy and convenient. I got the relaxation massage the first time and it was great, I am still riding the wave of the effects and its been a week already,next time I am going to try one of the body scrubs. At 27 weeks pregant I was traveling for work and had severe back pain after flying for 6 hours the day before. The ladies were able to move appts around to accommodate me same-day. I was so grateful!
The prenatal massage was incredible. I don't recall the name of the woman who did it but she was amazing!!! It was so relaxing and she really eased my back muscles. I was slightly sore the next day and after that the pain disappeared.
