Led by our founder and principal attorney Stanley Block, our firm has over 100 years of combined tax resolution experience. We believe in advocating for taxpayers' rights, and we pride ourselves on our ability to resolve significant tax problems with the state of Maryland and the IRS for individuals and businesses.
Stanley H. Block has been practicing law in Baltimore and its surrounding counties for more than 50 years. After receiving several distinguished honors for his role as a Communications Transmitter with the United States Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict, Mr. Block graduated from Baltimore City College.
Marcy Block began working at S.H. Block Tax Services immediately after graduating high school in 1999. Originally, she focused on marketing and customer services, but she gradually developed an interest in tax preparation and liability and began working toward becoming a certified and licensed tax preparer.
Jane Block joined our team in April of 2016, and her skills and experience immediately added a great deal of structure and efficiency to S.H. Block Tax Services. Her software and technical skills make her ideally suited to deliver excellent support and customized care to our clients. She ensures our computer systems are efficient and optimized and that our internal processes are streamlined and organized.

From my dad "recently i recieved letters from state and federal tax bureaus stating that i owed alot of money and had no idea what to do or where to start. I saw Mr. Blocks ad on tv and i thought i would give it a shot. when i called they were very curteous and helpful and set up an appointment at my earliest convenience.
