I’ve been going to Lavish for a very long time and they have always left me extremely satisfied. Especially with Ivy! Ivy is super talented and does amazing nail art, structure of the nail, and she’s always looking out by giving recommendations on how to achieve the best nail set. Not only that, but she is super kind and fun to talk to! If you are coming here for the first time, or looking into getting a new tech, go to Ivy!!

1) $54 for a basic acrylic fill is ridiculous. 2) $54 for a poorly done basic fill is infuriating. She shellacked that powder on my nails so thick!! I was thinking maybe it was just the way she did it, and that she would go back with the nail tool and thin it out all over; nope! She was sloppy and got it on my cuticles and fingertip (see pictures) so that’ll be flaking off for a day or two. At the end she used a small piece to clean under my fingernails, and made me bleed at one point. She didn’t apologize -she had the audacity to ask if I hit my nail on something! Lady, you’ve been holding

It was my fiance and I first time at this nail salon and the experience was extraordinary. Not only did they called me back when they couldn't pick up the phone to make the appt, but they were able to accommodate us the same day. Our aestheticians Jordan and Daniel did an excellent job on our Spa Pedicure. They really took the time to make our experience incredible. 100% recommend the place and 1000% recommend our 2 aestheticians

After many failed attempts at finding good local nail tech I found Nene. She took me as walk-in after I had another tech cancel an appointment at another salon. I was a customer here years before but never found a tech who gave me the natural shape I was looking for and could do designs. Nene was very professional, friendly and gave me exactly what I asked for. I highly recommend her for service!

This place is absolutely awful!! I got a full set and only a single color. The tech had no idea what she was doing! She cut me 3 times with the electric nail drill and it burns so bad! Secondly, when laying the acrylic powder with the monomer she had to repeatedly do every nail several times. It was literally glooping off the ends and sides of my nails! I also have glue all my nails and skin. She also didn’t put the acrylic powder far enough so it looks like I’ve had my nails on for a whole week! Lastly, she preceded to file the sides of my nails again after they were polished and put in the

I want to start this off by saying that I do NOT like to complain, and I've never written a bad review before. I respect talents of all kinds and don't judge "hard" work, but this time I will make an exception.
We reserved a time for me and the rest of my family to each have one thing done, and we reserved a time MANY days in advance. They had me and two of my other family member's wait for nearly an hour, and let walk-ins go ahead of us multiple times. This is by far one of the best nail salons that I have utilized in the Hampton Roads area. They are opened on Sundays which is a plus. The only downfall is the website hours didn't reflect their correct hours of operation. I arrived at 1045, the website showed they opened at 1030. The salon was packed with a waiting line our the door. I was told it would be an hour wait. I didn't mind the wait because I really need a fill in. However after 15 mins I was called in to be seen. This was my first time visiting. Arrived at 10am on a Thursday. Although they had many people getting pedicures they were able to accommodate me as a walk in. I got the signature pedicure with gel polish. I needed my heels scrubbed well so this was the perfect service. I spent $20 more than the local shop that I normally use but the atmosphere and the quality of the pedicure was worth it. I will be using this place from now on. Oh and they give a 5% discount if you pay in cash.

Came here on a Monday night and it was packed so make appointments because it's a popular place. When we walked in we were asked what we wanted and told them we wanted 2 pedicures. My friend and I were told it would be a 45 minute wait but with appointment they could make it only 30 minutes. So we took the appointment and walked around the plaza and looked at some of the other stores until it was time for us to get our pedicures.
They had a good selection of colors and gel polishes. And the place was really so cute and relaxing. The girl who took me back and was doing my pedicure was quiet

It's been over a year since I've been able to treat myself with a mani/pedi. Due to COVID and being prego, I had to take precautions.
After spending some time at One Life fitness in Chesapeake Square, I decided to do some research for a highly reviewed nail salon.
Thanks to Yelp, I found this jewel that was only 10 minutes from the gym. And after reading previous posts, I called first to make an appointment. I let them know I was 15 mins away. "No problem, come on in". Appointment booked that easy for a spa mani/pedi with gel.
There was a long wait but I'm glad

A little bummed. :( I got acrylics done last Friday and on day two they started yellowing, now a week later they're already popping off. There was a ton of glue on my actual fingers below my cuticle line that I had to pull off as well. I was so excited to come here, and my boyfriend raved about his pedicure/massage he got, so I'm definitely a bit disappointed. I really loved my nails/their shape and hoped they would last longer!
