The Gymnastics Shop
All staff and kids will be screened with an infrared thermometer prior to entering the gym. If not normal - by CDC standards, entrance will be denied. All kids will be required to wash hands prior to gym entrance or parents can have them sanitize hands while waiting to enter the gym. Once in the gym - there will be washing/sanitizing stations.

Kids will remain in the same group through their class/workout to minimize exposure to others. Groups will have designed areas to enter, exit, stretch and workout - they will have their own equipment if needed. Equipment, bathrooms, lobby, entrance, exit will be cleaned frequently and between groups.
Services
Little Peanuts will learn the basics of gymnastics, body control, strength and flexibility. They will jump, run, skip and fly out some of their endless energy, while socializing with other "peanuts" their age. Little Peanuts 2 will expand on what is learned in the Peanuts 1 class. They will stretch, condition and start learning the basic skills on each event in order to advance to our next levels.
This is our introduction to gymnastics class for boys, and the next step up from our Little Peanuts 2 class. If your boy is new to the sport and is not the right age for our Peanuts 2 class, this is the class for him. He will work on beginning skills on all six boys events. He will work on proper body positions and safety.
Our competitive gymnastics team operates under the same philosophy as the rest of the gym. We are committed to allowing the gymnasts to grow as individuals, learn while having fun, but also maintaining a sense of discipline. We treat each gymnast with dignity and respect, all while helping to build their self esteem.
This is a tumbling class for students that have little to no experience with tumbling. Your child will begin to learn the very basics of tumbling in this class while working on their flexibility. These classes are designated for girls that are on the teams that tumble with us. If your cheer squad is looking to improve upon their tumbling, try to get those extra points for competition, or just increase your tumbling, have your squad join us!
If your child is enrolled in an Intro to Tumbling, Team Tumbling, or Semi Private Tumbling Class and would like a little more practice, then this open gym is for them! The coaches will be available to spot their floor tumbling, then they can work out on the tumble track or trampolines on their own.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
My daughter attends little Peanut class and loves it!! Coach Julian is super organized and pays very good attention to all of the kids attending the class and tries to make sure everyone is doing and practicing necessary skills and routines! Katie in the front is always very nice and helpful!! Highly recommend!!

We came to TGS on the recommendation of my sister in law 3 years ago and have continued to be impressed each year as each of my daughters progress through their skills. Our focus is tumbling, as both girls do cheer. The coaches are fantastic - they know how to encourage so progress is pushed forward and are great about identifying and suggesting corrections to form and execution. We partake in semi private and team tumbling classes as well as private sessions. I highly recommend The Gymnastics Shop.

I really wanted to like this place. It is not too far from our house, and my daughter needed more tumbling skills for cheer. We have been attending for about 3 months, and in my opinion the coaching is poor. The coaches often do not correct the mistakes the girls are making, and especially with cheer and gymnastics, this is critical. The earlier bad habits break, the earlier the girls can have better form, be safer, and advance their abilities. We are fortunate to live where there are several gyms so we will try a different one after this season. We have been taking semi-private lessons two times

First of all, to write this review I had to create a Google account, which means this review is important. My daughter used to come here for gymnastics and decided to go back to her previous gymnastics studio. She decided she wanted to go back to TGS because she likes the coaches and facility better. I called TGS to get the new 10 week schedule (that is not posted on the website) and left a message. Never received a call back...called a day later and the voicemail was full. Obviously they don’t check their voicemails. Emailed them...no response. My daughter loves gymnastics and just want her

My daughter has been coming to The Gym Shop for about 8 years. The coaches are great and always willing to go the extra length to perfect a skill. They always have the kids best interest in mind for form and technique to prevent injuries. They have been a great resource for us during this cheer journey. We are going to miss coming here after my daughter graduates.

After trying several places in the area, we gave this one a try. First, the classes are appropriate lengths and longer than any other place in the area. That means stretching doesn’t cut with actual class time, which I appreciate. The classes are not jammed packed with kids, I don’t know the max ratio of kids to instructors, but this place is by far the best in the area for that . When we asked our kids which place they liked the best out of the 3 we tried, they unanimously, and without hesitation, said this place...this was my choice as well. I can’t speak to the actual instruction because
