In 1922, Al Silverglade, Sr. opened his stand at Findlay Market, and so began the Silverglades family business which has spanned three generations. At first, the business consisted of a small wooden stand made of saw horses, sheets of plywood covered with oil cloth, and two homemade glass cases that displayed cheeses and sausages.
Italian Imported Proscuitto topped with fresh mozzarella, sprinkled with chopped basil, accompanied by hand-sliced Roma tomatoes, topped with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing and served on an Italian Baguette! Silverglades Home Baked Ham, Melted Smoked Mozzarella, and Pineapple ring served on a toasted Bagel.
Individual lunch box for each person. All box lunches include an overstuffed deli sandwich of turkey, ham, or roast beef, & cheese, or chicken, ham, or tuna salad. Kosher pickle, lettuce & tomato on the side. Pasta or potato salad and fruit salad. Over stuffed 3-foot sub with your choice of meats and cheeses with lettuce, tomato and onion.

There's so much to choose from and the food is always hot and amazing! The staff is extremely friendly. My only constructive comment is that when we ate there yesterday the food was amazing the coffee was amazing and we ended up our meal with dessert and unfortunately it tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for weeks and it nearly crumbled in my hands, as well as my friends cookie. I had the blondie brownie, and the first time it was to die for. Well always come back, I just want to inform the business that the desserts might need to be rechecked. Thank you!

This location is very close to my office, so it has been a great go-to option for a quick lunch to go. (You can eat in too - plenty of space). So far, I've had a made to order salad, several of the soups, the Hawaiian Bagel, Skinny Turkey sandwich, and the Gracie Green ham sandwich. All are solid lunch options. The pizza looks good - I'm looking forward to trying it. I'm really glad they are open!!

We were trying to go to Arnold's for their Matzo Ramen, but it wasn't open (not sure why). Anyway, we were starving and we had parked right out in front of Silverglades. I'm so glad that the stars aligned and we ended up trying it.
They offer quite a bit of options, especially for those wary of in-door dining. They have box lunches to go. And, with the space being so large, it wasn't hard to go up to the counter and order while remaining 6-ft apart from other customers.

I've had three experiences at Silverglades, which is unfortunate because I've lived right next to it for 2 years and was excited to have a deli right by where I live. The first time I simply went in to buy wine for a friend. Very convenient! The second time a friend brought me an egg & cheese bagel, typically a saving grace for me on a hungover Saturday. We both took a bite & immediately looked at each other in utter confusion. The sandwich tasted like straight up air! How can an egg & cheese sandwich have ZERO flavor?! The third time I tried to order a sandwich for pickup

I went in for a lunch meeting. I got there before the large crowd and had an opportunity to explore the various menu items. There are a few different areas when you go inside. One for meals and sandwiches, one for soups and salads and another for smoothies.
I decided on the taco salad with chicken. I didn't get the black beans in it. Tried the southwest ranch dressing. The salad was good. Shredded lettuce, chicken, cheese, jalapeƱos and the dressing along with chips. I did enjoy and it was a good portion size. I was able to take half and eat later.

Today I called in an order of "Homemade"oatmeal from Silverglades and the person who took my order, I believe it was Craig, was very short and rude to me while taking my order. Once I arrived to pay for my order, he appeared to also be a little snippy with me. I'm not sure if he was having a bad morning or what. However, you can nkt/should not display this with your customers. ** Otherwise, my order was GREAT.

A solid four stars. The wait can get a bit lengthy during lunch time here, but the food is decent and sells at a good price. I am a fan of their wraps and just love the assortment of sandwiches available. The ambiance was a bit shattered at my last visit by a patron smoking outside at one of the tables, but that was out of their hands, at the time.

Let me just start by saying. Im not from Cincinnati. My friend said you have to try this place. Im never taking her advice again. Never go here!!! This is a nasty place. This place is dirty and the employees… are very rude and unprofessional. There were bugs every where!!!!. When i said something to the gentleman with black hair that works there.He told me it wasnt his problem. He doesnt get paid to deal with them. Surprised me a bit because it is a nice place. Sad to see employees running a small business to the ground. Im sad to see this. It does seem like a nice place but considering

Great place for lunch. Quick, easy and so many options that are made in house/to order. Went on a Tues noon so it was bustling w/ biz lunch crowd. But was still prompt and seats available. All the staff was helpful. We had the chkn greek wraps and soups. The chkn and beef soups and my chkn soup was delicious and hearty. Wraps are very good too. Will definitely be back for lunch!

I went to Silverglades for the first time last week. Great place for those who work downtown because it's quick, fairly priced and has a lot of variety. I created my own wrap and had a side of pasta salad. Staff was super friendly and gave me guidance on where to order, pay, etc. because it was my first time being there. It can get a little crowded, so I might take it to go next time, but I will be back to try the salads. They also sell smoothies, pizza, wine, etc. Wrap was good but the pasta salad had too much dressing and olives for my taste - will get a different side next time. Try this
