Services
Dr. Woods provides assessments of autism across the lifespan. By integrating multiple evidence-based tools and types of data, Dr. Woods can give you results with confidence. Dr. Woods has extensive training in established tools for diagnosing autism, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition and TELE-ASD Peds.
Dr. Woods is available to consult with individual providers, clinics, hospitals, and organizations worldwide to support them in providing accurate assessments. Dr. Woods can contract with organizations within Washington state to complete the assessment herself remotely while collaborating with local staff.
D. (nee O'Neil) is a clinical psychologist at Discover Psychology. She completed her 2-year postdoctoral fellowship focusing on autism, ADHD, and related differences at the University of Washington Center for Human Development and Disability Child Development Clinic in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Program.
Racism permeates the world of psychology and our communities through systemic and individual inequality. Other factors interact with race and disability to affect a person's experience of the world. Dr. Woods is LGBTQIA-affirming and understands the complexities of being marginalized in multiple ways.
An accurate assessment is an investment in your future or your child's future. The cost of assessment or consultation ranges depending on complexity and time involved. The cost is usually between $1500 and $2500. These fees can be paid using a health savings account or credit card.

You will also receive a "superbill, " which is a detailed receipt that provides insurance companies with the information that they need to reimburse you at the out-of-network rate (which varies, but is often about 60%).You pay for the face-to-face services at the time of service (usually about $640-$1000) and pay the remaining balance (for scoring, report writing, and interpretation) a few weeks later when you receive the report.
