Bewildered and furious with Dr. Saunders and his staff. My husband and I have treated with his office for years. We have always paid our bills on time, been punctual for appointments, and been courteous and respectful to him and his staff. And we have overall been pleased with the care received. Yesterday, my husband had a follow up appointment for his pre-cancer treatment scheduled for 4:15 pm. At 11:30 am that morning, he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and admitted for emergency, life-saving surgery. As soon as we learned the diagnosis, I called Dr Saunders office to notify them of our

Heaven help you if you have to cancel without 48 hours notice! There was an unexpected death in my family which required me to only give them 22 hours advance notice. How could I possibly give 48 hours notice for something that hadn't yet happened?! I was informed that there was a $90 No Show fee. Also, the sutures in my neck would not be removed until I paid, so I had my family doctor remove them. Great doctor but horrible office staff.

We made an appointment and were able to get in right away. Very friendly receptionist. Doctor Saunders removed the area in question and we were out of there in less than 30 minutes. Very impressed and happy with our experience today!

I went in for an office appointment with Dr. Mark Sanders today when I arrived I was very rudely greeted by the receptionist She went into the back and when she returned she informed me that there was apparently a $90 charge on my account for a no-show appointment almost 20 years ago! I was stunned
When I made the appointment nobody mentioned anything of the sort and his office is not located anywhere convenient almost a 35 minute drive from downtown Traverse City I tried to discuss with the receptionist that I would like to ask the doctor about this fee and she would not have anything to do with

I was 10 minutes late and the people there were not at all understanding. The receptionist said that the doctor was already in with his next patient and couldn't see me and they wanted to charge me 90 dollars for not showing up. Which I would have to pay before rescheduling with them. I had to pay for daycare and drove for an hour and a half to get there. Was my appointment going to be 10 minutes long? He could have given me at least what I had left of my appointment. I informed the receptionist that it was not necessary to reschedule me as I would never return there.

This was my first visit to this doctor. I Drove 1 hr and 15 minutes to my appointment today and was 35 minutes early. Was immediately informed that I had a balance due on my account for a cancelled appointment over a year ago. Was not informed of this when I made the appointment, never received a bill and do not recall cancelling a previous appointment. Was informed that the doctor would still see me and was willing to waive the alleged balance due. I was not going to have him cut on me when he thinks I am delinquent on a payment. Walked out. Will find another doctor. I should have paid attention

Wow, what a great experience!! I tried to make an appointment at other Dermatologists but they were full for a long time. Dr. Saunders was able to get me in the same day (Amazing). This appointment was for my grandmother, and just 2 days after seeing Dr. Saunders (and using the medications he prescribed) she is ecstatic and says she feels 100% better already. This makes me feel so good, and I would recommend Dr Saunders to anyone needing a knowledgeable dermatologists.

I was driving my grandfather 80 miles to Traverse City from West Branch, and we figured that we would be about 15 minutes late to his appoinment for a melanoma. We called ahead and informed the office of the delay, and the receptionist said that the doctor may not see him because we projected being 15 minutes late. The receptionist basically was arguing with my elderly grandfather saying that there was no guarantee that the doctor would see him because of the lateness, and he should reschedule the appointment. We ended up being 7 minutes late, and he had to use the restroom after the hour-and-a
