Crossroads Counseling Centers, Inc. is a multi-specialty mental health counseling agency dedicated to serving individuals, couples, and families of all ages, stages, and struggles. Crossroads is a Christian based counseling facility that endeavors to provide a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for all members of our community.
We openly embrace individuals who do not describe themselves as Christian; and the beliefs of our staff and counselors are not forced upon anyone. We currently have facilities located in Alexandria, Benson, Litchfield, and Willmar MN. We also offer telehealth services for those who are unable to come to a physical location throughout West Central Minnesota.

At Crossroads we have a solid commitment to serving you and each member of our community with strong ethics, professionalism, expertise, and passion. Our counseling staff consists of state licensed professionals, supervised graduates seeking state licensure, and supervised counseling interns.

If you are unable to make it to an appointment due to inclement weather, illness, or another reason, instead of cancelling please consider using telemedicine to attend your appointment from the comfort of your home. This is counseling therapy either over the phone or through our new service GoToMeeting.
Will this be confidential? Yes, we take your privacy very seriously and adhere to the HIPPA Data Privacy laws. How long has Crossroads been around? Crossroads was formed in Willmar, MN by owner/director Daniel Nelson in February of 1998. Crossroads has since grown to have two satellite offices serving the communities of Benson, MN and Alexandria, MN.
At your initial appointment, we ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to take care of any necessary insurance, financial, and/or paperwork matters. Many of our forms/paperwork items are available to fill out and print prior to your appointment if that is easier for you. You may contact our business office with questions.
Crossroads provides certified premarital therapy for couples. We work in conjunction with many local churches to do the premarital testing and provide 2-4 sessions based on the results of testing feedback. The State of Minnesota offers a discount on marriage license fees when 12 hours of premarital counseling are completed with either a licensed therapist or clergy member or a combination of 12 total hours between both.
