I have nothing but great things to say about this place. My boys (3 and 8) look forward to every class and wish they could go every day. It is obvious that the owners and coaches truly care about what they do and about the kids they teach. They are patient and kind but also firm. The sense of community here is undeniable.
We tried another local martial arts school prior to finding Global and the dynamic was completely different. It was located closer to my home but I will drive the extra distance to bring my boys here. This place is truly special. Thank you Miss Hope and Professor Jimmy!

This is a top notch Martial Arts Gym! Great facility, wonderful atmosphere, the coaches make you feel wanted & like more than just a customer! I bumped into the owner (TKD & BJJ Black Belt instructor) Jimmy Holmes before they opened this new location as I was peering through the windows after getting a coffee next door. I ended up getting a full tour of the facility & the plans for their use of the back building to be a competition/tournament sized mat space with a weight training setup as well.

Came by for a Sunday open mat everyone was extremely helpful and after a quick waver I was shown the mats and invited to roll by multiple people, that gave me some challenging rolls. I had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend anybody to come and check this place out weather it's for a friendly open mat or to learn martial arts.

They teach kids to have a positive attitude and self image. So thankful for Jimmy, Hope, Bryan and all of the great teachers at Global Martial Arts We have a 5 year old that has been going for about a year and these people have helped improve his outlook on life and he has met friends. Not to mention how to defend himself against BULLIES!

I highly recommend Global Martial Arts. The owners, Jimmy and Hope are very professional, personable, and punctual. They personally offer their services off-site at our preparatory school (ages 2yrs. - before and after schoolers). Their level of expertise is phenomenal! After test visits to 5 options, we ended up back at Global, which was my son's favorite from day 1. We've stayed 2 years and anticipate an hour commute to keep coming, despite our recent move. It comes down to the people; every one of the staff has shown themselves to care about my son. We sought a way for my ADHD son to practice self-control. His confidence has come so far, and each belt test encourages him more. Jimmy and Hope have also provided him an extra touchpoint of personal accountability after rough behavior events at school. It's just awesome that he's got this strong group of role models

I cannot say enough great things about Global Martial Arts. My son started classes when he was 2.5 and hadn't been in a class setting except for daycare when an infant. He was very scared and didn't want to participate. His teacher Hope, was so patient with him and gently pushed him to try more and more. Her husband also worked one on one with my son until he was comfortable. Now, I can't get him to leave! He asks me every day if today is his Taekwondo class because he loves it so much!! He has higher self-esteem, answering with respect, listening better and of course, learning amazing

Jimmy and Hope came out to our elementary school as part of a spring Fundraiser kick off. They worked great with the kids. Personally, my daughter has attended GMA for 5 years and eaned her black belt. Jimmy and Hope know how to draw the best of any child with positive reinforcement and accolades. I highly recommend them for any school function, birthday party, or taekwondo lessons for anyone. You won't be disappointed.

Our daughter attended Global Martial Arts for a few years and loved it. The staff were all knowledgeable and friendly. They are great with young children. She decided to get into playing softball, which takes more time than allows us to continue with martial arts. But if not for softball, we would still be at Global. Highly recommended.

Jimmy and Hope are very welcoming here at Global Martial Arts. 23 years old and it was my first time trying martial arts and 2 months in, I love it! After the week trial I was hooked and signed up for a year. Now the goal is to becone a black belt. Recommend this place for any age. We love Global Martial Arts, we have been at this gym for almost 2 years now and continue to go even tho we live out in Magnolia now! My youngest is in the Little Ninjas program and my older is in the Jr. TKD class. Both have improved greatly since starting and love going to every class. All the instructors are amazing with the kids and are very supportive. They also have great classes for adults as well, I love the Pride Fitness class.

My son has been taking Tae Kwan Do at Global since September 2013. We are so pleased with our experience at this school. The instructors are top notch! I am so impressed with how they teach and how quickly he has progressed.
There is a great spirit of teamwork and camaraderie at the school. I feel that my son is gaining not only the technical skills that are being taught, but also confidence, positivity, tenacity and leadership skills.
