J.P. Morgan once said: "I don't want a lawyer to tell me what I cannot do, I hire him to tell me how to do what I want to do." The attorneys at Hyden Zakheim, LLP have a motto: "Find out what your client wants and figure out how best to accomplish that goal." You will often hear your attorney ask: "If I had a magic wand that can resolve all your issues, what would you ask me to do?"
I have had the pleasure of growing up and living all my life in the Bay Area. Over the years I have seen Northern California transform from a group of small cities to a multi-cultural metropolis. The growth and development of this unique area has played an important role in the way I practice law. Since 1986 I have provided legal counsel in a variety of areas to an ever emergent population.
Family law matters deal with the legal aspects of sensitive family relationships between spouses, children, parents and families. As such, there are very few things in life which are more stressful than family law matters. The legal issues involved in such cases, coupled with the emotions and unforeseen life changes can become overwhelming.
You are getting married! Although the idea of a "pre-nup" or a premarital agreement may be accompanied with a stigma, there are many reasons why a pre-nup should be considered prior to marriage. Couples often assume the purpose of a premarital agreement is to divide the assets. While this can be a pre-nup tool, it is not the sole focus.
A postnuptial agreement is a legally enforceable contract between spouses entered into after marriage. It is similar to a premarital agreement (pre-nup) except that it is executed during the marriage. Spouses enter into postnuptial agreements more often than you may think. One spouse is about to begin a business.

How is there not a review yet? I have been working with Simona for months now on immigration and a divorce. Simona and Jo Ann (Paralegal) have been respectful, understanding, and more than helpful with all of the legal challenges I've had to go through. I have, and will continue to use them as long as it's an option. I highly recommend them!!!
