In Year 2018 I was able to achieve a personal goal and became an addition to the small group of Certified Family Law Legal Specialists with the State Bar of California. I have been practicing family law for over ten years and have completed an extensive course in Divorce Mediation. Although I am an excellent litigator and have a knack for details, since my training in mediation, I have been focusing on helping separating couples reach mutual agreements for the best interests of their families.
As some one who has experienced a full range of litigation I feel that most families are best served when they are able to come to the table together, express their concerns and desires, and try to work out something that both Parties can live with, or even be happy with.It is important to me that all of my clients are able to understand and weigh the costs or benefits of their positions.

Services
Often, family law offices receive calls asking for services that do not fall under the "family law" umbrella. Although these areas may seem like they would be related to family law, often they are their own separate specialized area of practice. My office is currently expanding to Basic Estate Planning, including Wills & Trusts.
The reality is, you may not. However, you may feel more comfortable having one. I have many consults where my sole purpose is to review or prepare one document, give an outline on how someone can proceed on their own, or refer them to more affordable services. I also have cases where the matter is simple enough someone could proceed on their own, but they do not want the added stress.

Chelsea was previously employed at another law firm and helped my family through the tedious and crazy divorce process. Toward the end of our process Chelsea decided to separate from that law firm and made her own and she continued to help us out and be extremely attentive. Our paperwork kept getting denied, and we felt comfortable knowing Chelsea would handle things for us. We really appreciate all your hard work and attentiveness Chelsea.

I can't say enough positive things about Chelsea. I was the party of a nasty divorce with a narcissist; which is the worst divorce to encounter. After having two previous attorneys that wanted to play games, I hired Chelsea to complete remaining items. She was thorough and direct on completing the issues and knows the law better than any other. I also compliment her on her integrity and class, both in and out of the courtroom.
