We are very happy with our relationship with ORR and especially with the service we are receiving from Jerry. He always replies promptly, makes sure all T's are crossed and I's dotted. It is a great pleasure working with you, Jerry! Our company has been very blessed to have Jerry, he has been exceptional with all our insurance needs.

Our needs can be a headache, yet Jerry has the gift to get it all done. Jerry has been helping me with all my insurance needs for the last 4 to 5 years. He has been great, always there when I have needed certificates, always looking for the best coverage and prices for me. I am very happy to have Jerry as my broker.

Do you work on any ground-up residential construction projects (not including ATTACHED room additions)?* What percentage of your annual residential work is "ground-up construction" related work?* The basic intention of a general liability insurance policy is to cover you for damages that you, your employees, or your subcontractors have caused, whether to someone's property or person.
In the construction industry, for example, you can assume that you will be responsible to pay the WC premium for anyone you "employ". That includes an unlicensed subcontractor, a family member or a friend. Some insurance companies go so far as to charge you if your licensed subs don't have their own WC policy (the reason for that is explained below).
Do you have any permanently attached equipment you want coverage for (bed liner, tool box, etc.)?* What if you get in an accident while using your personal truck for business? Did you know that personal policies that allow some commercial use only allow it for running errands and not for hauling materials/tools?
You should never assume that tools or equipment coverage is included in your general liability or auto liability policies. Even if your tools or equipment are in your vehicle, there is no automatic coverage under an auto policy. There are two different kinds of coverage for this: Replacement Cost and Actual Cash Value.
Bonds are not insurance. They are issued to provide your client with some financial recourse if you don't finish the job or finish it right. If someone files a claim against your bond, you have to pay the Bond Company back, which is why they are based on credit - it works just like a line of credit.
