Buppert's is well known in Carroll County Maryland for our fresh, home grown fruits, vegetables and healthy annuals and perennials. The Buppert family has been farming in Marriottsville, Maryland since 1951 when the land was purchased by Doran and Helen Buppert. From the beginning the farm was a traditional farm with livestock, hay, grain, and produce.
Over the years as the community grew, the demand for local, fresh produce grew. From our first "market" table on the lawn, we have sought to bring fresh and high-quality produce and healthy flowers to our neighbors. We also strive to educate our customers about stewardly agricultural and garden practices.

I was in the neighborhood and was recommended to stop there for produce. The selection was somewhat limited for a produce stand but what really stands out as disturbing is the $10 minimum charge policy or you get a “ strike charge” of 50 cents. I paid my produce in cash but that seems to be a deterrent for me to return there in the future. I realize that credit cards charge per transaction but that is a cost of doing business and I think at .75 per corn it shouldn’t be a problem.

I love this spot. The flowers always look very healthy and beautiful. The homemade pastry, preserves that they sell is so good. You also can purchase fresh vegetables and live goats as well. They also have my a spot under the bridge at Falls Way when open. Go pay them a visit and support Maryland Farmers.

Dropped by to see if they had straw (which they did), and what a gem I found! I was surprised at what a great selection of native pollinator plants they have (turtle head, blazing star, cardinal flowers, Joe Pye weed, etc!) that I have had trouble finding at other places. They also have all the great stuff other reviews talked about... produce, ice cream, pies, birdhouses, all the farm store type products. Two thumbs up for this place!

This is a great alternative to some of the much busier pumpkin patches in the area. The hayride (at $10 pp) seemed quite expensive at first glance, but, it includes a ride to their pumpkin patch where you can pick Your own perfect pumpkin. It also includes food to feed the adorable goats and the corn maze. Get your tickets online before arrival. They have a great large selection of fresh produce, gourds, pumpkins, ciders, jams, etc. And, very friendly staff.

Kind friendly and a somewhat overlooked gem of our local community, Buppert's farm (and CSA) isn't lacking In healthy local produce and plants, or in it's communal efforts and atmosphere. If you're like me and you've driven by this place hundreds of times without going in, stop, do yourself a favor by pulling in tomorrow and seeing what community has to offer

I love Bupperts! I try to get my eggs here as often as possible. I have a sensitivity to eggs thought maybe I was allergic until I tried Bupperts; something about their eggs don't irritate my stomach. I also love the breads and their amazing selection of produce. Never had better asparagus! I also love the jams, salsas, and relishes. Oh don't forget the candles, pottery, and flowers... sometimes they even have goat cheese, but I haven't seen any this year yet. That reminds me, I need to make a Bupperts stop soon...
