Q: What about reservations? A: Reservations are suggested especially on weekends, however, we do not require reservations nor do we charge customers an additional fee for not having one. If you are bringing a large group (20 or more) then it is helpful to give us a "heads up" so we can be well prepared.

This place is so amazing! The moonlight kayak we trip we took was paired with a dinner offer they put together beforehand and it was delicious! My hubby and I had such a fantastic time! They are very knowledgeable and prepare you beforehand of what you will need and run into on your trip! The only thing they didn’t mention but is pretty common sense is if your using a headlamp to see bring mosquito netting! They dive bomb you, and it feels a lot like warp speed on the millennium falcon. It does not take away from your trip though! It was just a awesome full moon peaceful trip on the river.

This was such a great experience!! You can launch right at the place, and there are 3, 6, 9 or 11 mile trips. We did the 6 today, looking forward to doing the longer trips next time. I'd like to try their kayaks because it looked like they had some nice ones. Will be back! We brought our doh also, and she loved it!! It was great for her, plenty of room 😊

We bring our own kayaks and use the livery to pick us up a few miles down the river. We've done this a bunch of times now and they've been super nice and helpful. They're always willing to lend a hand to help us out of the river and they load the kayaks themselves. Highly recommend the trip BUT bring bug spray...they're nasty this time of the year on the water.

Camping and canoeing here have become a family tradition. I almost hate to post a glowing review because I like it being off the radar somewhat! Primitive campsites are right on the river, and there is a covered pavilion/grill area with tables for use. It's definitely primitive, so charge your phones and stock your batteries. Friendly people, dog friendly camping, and a gorgeous stretch of the river to canoe and kayak. Very affordable rates, and they are doing an awesome job cleaning with the new COVID regulations. Super family friendly. You can walk over to 1 of the 2 ice cream shops, check out

Have been coming to the livery since I started kayaking several years back. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Have been bringing my own kayaks for the past few years and the process is very straightforward and pricing is very reasonable.
Given the current situation with covid, all the employees are wearing masks, they require masks when on the shuttles, and seem to be taking the sanitation of their rental fleet very serious and doing a very through job from what I saw. Glad they were still able to operate this year!
