Best place in Jersey City to fix Mac products. They do what they tell you and if they can't fix it they will let you. There is standard 40.00 service fee that I paid when I took a Mac mini m1 over to them just for them to inspect your item. They were honest with their diagnosis and although they couldn't repair mine in this situation. Their honesty allowed me to look for an alternative to my problem.

Came with two issues:
1. Repairing a hard drive with a damaged slot. Motherboard needed to be replaced per the owner, costed me $25. Done well, the hard drive works after the repair.
2. Setting up a computer with a new videocard (one necessary cable was missing and I didn't know where to get it, or where to connect the cable on the computer itself). Costed me $40 for the task, $15 for the cable.
Both requests were done well. If I have future issues and I'm in the area, will definitely go here.

I dropped my laptop on the floor and the keyboard stopped working. Took it to a local repair shop but they were not able to find the problem and recommended that I take it back to the Microsoft store. Instead I called Computech and they said “let’s us have a look”. I took it in and Sam had it working within 24hrs for a fair $80 fee. I was very happy.

Sam fixed two laptops for me at a very reasonable price. One had a destroyed cracked case around the hinge and the other had a dead motherboard. Within two weeks or so, both were fixed. The location on Central Avenue is easily accessible for the neighborhood. Sam is friendly, humble, and solves your problems. Try him first!

Went here for the first time last week to fax a paper. Waited 15 minutes for him to do the fax only to say that it didn't go through. Tried again the second time and was also a fail. Noticed other customers in the store were also having issues with their faxes and printing, too. Probably this place is using some ancient machines to print/fax. The store was a mess, tight space with old computer parts laying everywhere, even scattered on the floor. They even have a set of used wheels and tires sitting around, if for some reason you want to visit a computer repair store to buy car parts. Left

Doing an exercise for school, I accidentally reconfigured my boot drive on my laptop. Comptech agreed to fix it this for me at the cost of $64 so that I was able to access my files. When the computer was returned to me, the boot drive was not reconfigured. They had instead restored my laptop to factory condition, wiping out ALL my files, purchased applications, pictures, etc. in the process.
Sam explained to me that both technicians at this site were unable to do the task I specified and had no other option and were unable to save my files. Under NO CONDITION did I give verbal or written

If you think an old Dell pulled out of a company dumpster, with a 12 year old Pentium 4 Chip and a QUARTER gig of ram, which is about as much RAM systems had 20 years ago is good, then this is the place for you! And they're selling these machines (no monitor, keyboard or mouse) for $125 at this place! And I'm sure the copy of Windows XP installed on it is NOT legal.
Everything at this store is marked up 300% of what you can buy it for online.
