The Elegant Child Early Learning Center believes in providing a developmental program within a safe and nurturing "home away from home" environment for children and their families. This belief allows young children to feel individual success while expanding their world and ideas through all areas of development including cognitive, social, physical, and emotional progression.
Services
Started back in 1992 as the ideal model for their own children, Chip and Debbie Rowland wanted to create an atmosphere of learning that is second to none. We proudly hold National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Accreditation and Missouri Accreditation. What this means is that our teachers hold higher levels of credentials and our curriculum is of the highest quality.
We surround our children with happy, loving staff members that make a higher level of learning a natural part of each day! Our teachers take pride in establishing long-lasting and caring relationships with each child and family while applying their degrees and experience in early childhood education.
The Elegant Child has been our family's "home away from home" for the past five years. We currently have three children attending this wonderful school, ages 5, 2 and 1. Since the moment we walked into the Infant 1 room five years ago, my husband and I knew that each teacher and administrator would give our children the very best care each day.
The Elegant Child Early Learning Center has been setting the standard in early childhood, preschool, and kindergarten education since we opened in 1992. We welcome children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age with a summer camp for children up to 12 years. With both NAEYC and Missouri Accreditation, we hold ourselves to a higher standard of education: our curriculum is of the highest quality, taught by teachers with credentials in the field.
Our infant nurseries exemplify your child's "home away from home" with their full size cribs, newest baby items, nurturing teachers and gentle atmosphere. We believe that children are never too young to be exposed to learning! Your precious babies will be provided with a richly-stimulating environment that includes a thematic curriculum, baby physical education, and baby music.
