Rosalia's Deli offers deli meats, imported & domestic cheeses, pastries, cannolis, Italian dry goods, as well as paninis, subs, homemade soups & wood oven pizzas. We are family owned & operated the old fashioned way. If you are looking for a delicious lunch or if you don't feel like cooking dinner, Rosalia's Deli has the perfect complete meal.
The Deli has the finest Italian cold cuts including choices which are low sodium, gluten free & have no additives. They are made the way they were 100 years ago. They also have pizzas made in their wood burning oven, home made fresh salads, sauces, & delicious desserts. Josh, the owner of Angelo's Ristorante & Banquets, came up with the idea for Rosalia's, because his family owned a deli in Sicily & there wasn't an Italian deli in Elmhurst.

The prosciutto panini will change your life. It's salty and buttery with melt-in-your-mouth ingredients: ciabatta, prosciutto, pesto, fresh mozzarella, tomato & arugula.
When you walk in, it feels very old-school. There's a wood-fired pizza oven to your left where the employees will roll out fresh dough for your pizza. Straight ahead is the counter where you can order. Gelato waits in the freezer. To your right is a counter with awesome cookies and meats.
I didn't know what to expect upon ordering, but that panini felt like it was crafted by Michelangelo himself (the ninja

We stumbled onto this deli when we were in the neighborhood and needed something quick to eat. Their food was amazing and we ended up ordering some cookies to go. We had the paninis and were really impressed. Their staff was kind and friendly. If I lived closer, I'd be there regularly. Now, I'll make sure to make this a destination spot.

A very nice place. Clean. And a lot of good items on the menu. Have been here three times. And the sandwiches, the soups, the pizzas, panzarottis, salads...All good. Very good actually. I would have like to try more items. But with 6 people working there. And one person ahead of me in line. It once took over a half hour to get my food. I think it took 10 minutes to ring up my order once. The guy walked away to answer the phone. It is a very disorganized place. Every time I go in there it takes forever. I am better off going to a sit down place. I really want to like this place. The food is good

My mom and I were on our way back from an appointment when we came across this place. I cant count how many times we drove past it and said "hey lets stop in for something". We were pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere of the deli, its small but cozy. We both ordered the Italian Sub, now as long time al & joe's fans, some people may say we are crazy going anywhere else for an Italian. This place is ON PAR with Al & Joe's Italian, and better priced! Josh and Diane were super friendly, and have done a great job with presenting everything they offer in the restaurant. We will be back for more! Thanks

First time trying the Pepper n Egg Sandwich here, Delicious! A well made , very filling Pepper n Egg Sandwich. I had the Clam Chowder soup with my Sandwich, picked a few Cannoli's to go. I did ask if the Pepper n Egg sandwich was strictly a Lent Special as some places are, no. The Pepper n Egg is made year round, just ask. If you don't see it on the menu, they will still make it. Delicious! Enjoy!

Came for lunch with some work buddies I had the Italian sandwich, French onion soup, ordered chicken limone soup (to go), and friends ordered chopped salad & wood fire pizza! Even sampled the Italian cookie gelato! Everything was absolutely amazing! Service was quick, professional and very nice people! We will be back regularly! Highly recommend!

I'm of the view that there is no such thing as a bad pizza. We came close here with a Margharita pizza that tasted like it came from the freezer at Jewel. It wasn't bad, but conversly wasn't good either.
I know this contradicts several reviews that liked their pizzas. Maybe I should have ordered one of their specialty pizzas.

I try to giro this little gem any time I get the chance, they are open mostly for lunch hours (although Angelo's next door is related and open for dinner) they have a brick oven pizza that makes excellent pizzas, a huge selection of fine imported Italian meats, cheeses and wines along with premise meals, fresh made pasta and gelato! A one stop shop for sure. Every time I go here I make sure to order the baked French onion soup, they put a piece of garlic bread in there and then melt the cheese in the brick oven! So dang good! The sandwiches are excellent and so are the pizzas, I would recommend

I had the 8 inch Caprese cold sub and it was really good! The balsamic was just right and the opinion was light enough, I didn't mind it (I usually dislike raw onion on my sandwiches). We also ordered an Italian cold sub and a tuna panini and they were enjoyed as well. The wood-oven pizzas looked and smelled delicious, so I can't wait to go back and try those next. Would definitely eat here again,

Here is a place that has been on my bookmark list for quite awhile. It is located on York, a short distance south of North avenue. It is actually part of a building that houses a restaurant which I had ate in a few times a couple years back.
The inside is a nice Italian deli with many sandwiches, pizza, etc. to choose from.
I ordered an Italian sub to go which the young lady who took my order then proceeded to make my sandwich for me. The sandwich was pretty big but also was pretty good.
Now, I think an Italian deli (Serino's) near where I live makes the best sandwiches and other Italian

Been coming here for a few years now and I will still say this is the best little deli for lunch or dinner. I sometimes stop here and pick up the lasagna for two for dinner. It's the perfect amount for two people, with a side salad and bread.
I will say this and it's the only negative comment I can give is sometimes the salads you get on the side with sandwiches have old wilted and brown lettuce. It's very unappealing , and not sure why they don't notice ????
I still like coming and love that they have a wood fire pizza of the day. It's a great value.

I have been to a few Italian delis in the area and Rosalia's takes the cake. Proof: I have been there three times in a week for lunch since I discovered it!
I have a weakness for interesting ingredients in sandwiches and the Goud-Apple Panini had me at first sight. Arugula is also great in sandwiches. I am currently working down their Panini list: Goud-Apple, Smoked Salmon, Prosciutto are all good; Wild Mushroom, I am coming for you next. Many places only allow half sandwich option with cold sandwiches but you can get half Panini with soup or salad here (a big plus for a soup and hot sandwich
