We love going to Stella's for brunch! It's a small, local business and the food and service reflects that. This is a place to go with a small group - the seating is limited and I wouldn't try to go with a group bigger than six.
The sandwiches are unique and I've honestly liked every one that I've tried. The specials change every day and are different enough from their normal menu that it truly feels like a special.
I would highly recommend saving room for dessert, especially the Mary Porter pie. The flavors are spot-on and the serving size is enough to share.

This restaurant was located the the Historic District of Lexington. I was excited to see they had their own parking lot and free street parking. I was driving a huge Ford truck (husband's vehicle) and would've kept driving, if parking was a hassle for me.
The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch all day. I ordered lunch. The food was delicious and the Burgoo soup was new to me, so I had to order it. It reminded me of Brunswick stew. I also ordered the Kentucky pie to-go. I definitely suggest getting a slice of that...it's basically a pecan pie with lots of chocolate.

Cute brunch spot in old Victorian house. Stumbled on this lovely little spot while downtown. Great service & cute atmosphere. The patio is so quaint. I had apple & my Bleu cheese sandwich and lemon icebox pie. Both were unique and tasty. I think I need to come back & try breakfast. Another table was claiming the scones were "the best they'd ever eaten."

Didn’t even get to eat there. Walked up, it literally says wait at the bar to be seated. Server started seating the party that came in after us. My husband simply said “excuse me we are waiting for a table too.” She got snotty and said “you can sit wherever you want” we asked about outside, rudeness continued and turns out it was a full sun spot. So we just left. Lost our business. Lots of great spots in Lexington that treat you nicely.

As a pescatarian, I've found some of my go to dishes a bit complicated on this trip. I was excited to come across Stella's because it was not only walking distance from us, but vegetarian and vegan friendly. I had so many choices, I was a bit torn on what to order.
We arrived at Stella's just past peak lunchtime. The outside was still full, but there was plenty of room inside for us. I'd planned to get the vegetarian Kentucky Brown, but the pull of the pimento cheese sandwich was strong. Our server's enthusiastic support of the pimento cheese sandwich sold me. Husband

Great little spot with lots of vegan/vegetarian options, indoor and outdoor seating, unique sodas made in house (with flavors like Blueberry Basil), and more. Their hot brown is the best I've had in town. My girlfriend is vegetarian and I'm not, so this is one of our favorite spots, with abundant options for both of us. Highly recommended!

We went there for the Hot Brown burger, their entry in Lexington Burger Week. While the rest of our food was very good, the Hot Brown burger was a disappointment. It was nothing like what had been pictured in their online posting of it. I’m recommending them because the overall quality was good. Maybe next time they’ll do better.

You'll find lots of great choices on the menu at Stellas!
My friend chose the breakfast burito; he was very happy with it, and said it was both filling and delicious. I went with the quiche and seasonal salad and they were delish!
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy some uniquely delicious food in a quaint and relaxing venue :-)

Really unique food options in a charming little place. I would recommend the fried green tomato blt and the Mary Porter pie. Great service even though it seemed the one waitress was serving the whole place. Didn't like the Bleu and Apple (too much bleu cheese). Also the mac and cheese was really garlicky.
