Bavarian Auto Repair is a family-owned auto repair company. We have a passion for cars and repairing them. Hence, why we started Bavarian Auto Repair. Our goal is to provide the best dealership alternative. To us, this means providing the highest quality repairs and services but at a better price than local dealerships. Services
Our equipment does not touch the face of the rim, to avoid scratches. Our equipment also uses a soft polymer head to change the tires. This head is wide and thin, to provide as little pressure as possible when changing tires. All these features guarantee that we won't damage your rims. The alignments we perform are done to each vehicle's factory specifications.
Bavarian Auto Repair started with Mini specialist car mechanics. This is our "bread and butter". Most of our are expert technicians have worked for Mini dealerships. All the components we use to perform repairs are original. This means that we use the exact parts that come with your vehicle from the factory.
Bavarian Auto Repair has Porsche specialized car mechanics. All the components we use to perform repairs are original. This means that we use the exact parts that come with your vehicle from the factory. We also warranty our repairs for 2 years/ 24,000 miles. The nice thing about taking your vehicle to a Porsche specialist is that you know the repair will be done properly.

During 2021, we used Bavarian Auto Repair for assorted repair needs on our Mercedes S550 & BMW X3. Ralf and his team's professional handling of these repair needs left such a positive impression on us. Being used to working with dealer shops for several years and hesitant to move away from them was very quickly alleviated by the courteous & caring style demonstrated by Bavarian Auto Repair. In fact, they went beyond expectations to provide satisfaction regarding our vehicle needs.
Thanks Ralf, and all the best for a prosperous and safe 2022.

I recently had a bad experience at Bavarian Auto Repair. I took my 2013 BMW in on Thursday, Sept. 16 for a valve cover gasket replacement. I also asked them to investigate a drive train malfunction warning that appeared a few days before I took it in. They informed me that my timing chain was loose and needed to be replaced. We viewed the video that they sent showing the loose chain and we authorized the repair. My car was supposed to be ready on Friday, but they didn't complete the job until late afternoon on Monday. When I picked up my car, I noticed that the itemized invoices for both jobs were

Took my BMW X5 to get the transfer case replaced. They found a good, low mileage transfer case in Cali and had it delivered and replaced with no issues. They also replaced my Valve cover and gasket. Price was reasonable considering the work and communication was great. It took longer than expected, but I knew given the whole Covid issue this might have happened. Overall, happy with the results and will go back.

I work for Ruiz Ranch Motors of Spring Branch and entrusted Bavarian Auto Repair to take care of a clients vehicle. Couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism of this shop. Fast turn around, transparent, and affordable. I will be recommending clients, family, and friends alike to this shop. Their front desk person Carlos helped me through the process and is awesome to deal with. A huge thank you from the whole Ruiz Ranch team, Bavarian Auto Repair!

Staff was very friendly and professional. The shop is very accommodating and transparent with their customers. I went in for a brake fluid flush, but they found some other issues that were requiring repair. Instead of trying to make a quick buck and convincing me all the repairs needed to be done right then and there, I was told which issues were more urgent and which could wait and was in no way pressured to get any of them done that day. I was also provided with quotes for said repairs with part numbers listed. This establishment truly has their customer’s best interest in mind. They provide

CROOKS. CHECK YOUR INVOICES. Holy do not do business with these guys. I got my e46 inspected here prior to buying it. They charged me 180 bucks for a ppi when every other shop is around 120. Figured these guys would do it right so I decided to spend the extra. They printed out everything that was wrong with it and I bought the car. In the first 20 miles, brake light and abs lights come on. Previous owner told me that happened to him, shop told me it was probably because brake fluid needed to be flushed. I got it flushed, lights still came on. I run the codes and it's brake pressure sensors

With the new ownership (2019) a lot has changed toward negative. I brought my BMW X5 for replacement of two door handles and one window regulator. I was quoted 3-4 hours of work and we agreed on a total of $525 while I provided the parts. Seven hours later I finally got my car back with airbag sensor not reset and a total price of $547.73. When I asked what cost me extra $21 the owner quoted "rags, glass cleaner, cleaner, spray lube" and the like! This is a very dishonest way of doing business. If they grease up my windows it's up to them to clean it, or leave it alone for me

I took my Mini Cooper to this shop, having multiple problems with the engine. Prior to this I received several estimates from other Mini Cooper mechanics. With each estimate, the problems quoted were more or less the same. So I thought that was pretty straight forward. In the initial approach with Bavarian I met the owner and general manager. Both were likable and seemed experienced enough to do the job. They had my Mini Cooper 2-3 weeks and essentially did what they said they would do- not counting the two add-on repairs that came along the way (found problems that weren't detected during

I asked for an oil service and an oil analysis. Upon arrival, I provided my oil sample kit. Purpose was to check if my car needs a rod bearing service. About 2 hours later, I'm told they were doing a final check on my oil level. I then see my car drive off and I end up paying the bill and ask about my oil sample. I'm told by the manager that they can mail it off for me (with a confident smile on his face).

So the owner of this mechanics shop is one of the most solid guys I've ever known and his tenacious work ethics are exactly why I will keep his shop as my only go to place! Milan won't sugar coat things and then leave you hanging later with a large bill you weren't expecting and if he said he will do something he does it! Plain and simple! You ever find yourself in the unfortunate place where you need repairs on your ride, then don't even think twice about Bavarian Auto Repair... just get her on in there and you'll be happy you did!

On April 15, 2018 my wife and I left Chula Vista, CA driving to Hilltop Lakes TX. Just before we arrived in Las Cruces NM, my brake lining light came on. That night, I started looking online for BMW Independent repair shops in and around San Antonio TX, and one of them I found was Bavarian Auto Repair. Other shops who gave me estimate were way too high, but Bavarian Auto gave me estimate much lower than the other shops, with quality OEM parts (rotors, pads & sensors). I made and appointment on Apr 17 and was accommodated right away when I got there. The staff was nice and respectful, the shop

Bavarian does decent work and repaired my vehicle a couple of times. However, the last time I had my car worked on they took it for a test drive and the brake light turned on and admittedly the repairmen said he slammed on the breaks to check my car. They then said I needed new breaks not rotors and the estimate for over $1000!!!! I was shocked !!! I went to another mechanic that specializes in BMWs and got them fixed for less than half the price and they did great work. Another time my headlight was out and they told me it needed to be replaced and it was going to be over $500. Turns out the light
