Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) is the most widely-used test for measuring bone density. It can accurately and precisely monitor changes in bone density in patients with osteoporosis who are undergoing treatment. This machine takes a picture of the bones in the spine and calculates their density.
For those who suffer with diabetes, managing a healthy lifestyle and being mindful of your condition as you go about your day to day life are essential. Sometimes blood sugar may drop if your body recognizes an inconsistency in the amount of food you ate, your insulin level and your activity. This influx of insulin in a milder form is referred to as hypoglycemia.

I have been seeing Dr. Sangineni for two years. She was always polite and professional. I felt comfortable addressing my medical concerns with her. However, the experience with the nurses and some of the receptionists have not been positive. They are rude and have a negative attitude. I decided to change my provider and no longer be seen at this medical center for this reason. I will miss Dr. Sangineni's care, but I cannot tolerate the disrespectful attitude of the nurses and receptionists.

If there was zero stars that is exactly what they would get. Unfortunately this happens to be one of the practices I have for my insurance to go to. Scheduled appointments multiple times and they were canceled every time due to the provider not being in the office EVERY TIME. I have a job that I have to take off time in advance. I don’t have the luxury to take off any time I get a call that my appt is canceled every time before I was supposed to go. You can’t make me a patient until I have been seen but no one can see me. I call back to finally schedule a new one and the receptionist on 11

If I could give negative stars, I would. I have been a patient for well over a decade. I should have left years ago but have remained due to the Saturday availability and paying a reduced co-payment for listing them as my PCP with State Health Plan/BCBS. The incompetence and lack of care is Ah-ma-zing!!! The turnover rate with the PA staff members is a reflection of how poorly this office is run. They are unable to keep the good ones. I have been assigned to more than 7 providers while a patient at this office. The most recent issue: attempting to get a refill issue handled for 2 WEEKS!!!! They

I'm very disappointed that you're charged $98, for a rapid covid test, here. I've been a patient at Cape fear family medical for over 20 years. Being told that you have to pay for a test which should be free especially for patient there is unreal! I really think that they need to rethink their policy. If the government is funding , then why haven't they taken advantage of that! Things that make you go hummm

I waited over two months due to the lack of available appointments. I informed them that I maintain medications for my heart and thyroid but they couldn't give me an earlier appointment. When 2 months finally passed, I went there only to be told that the doctor assigned to me left already and I couldn't be seen that day. I was then told that I'll get a call to reschedule. I waited again.... for NOTHING. The staff was rude. Not even an apology for making me wait two months for a non existent appointment. Unforgivable.

They only called me once when my appointment was canceled and I had missed the call. When I went back there was no missed call from their practice. And instead of trying to call again they just never called. And when I made this appointment they never answered and I had to press buttons to get to billing to have them take my appointment. I do not recommend if your looking for a family doctor.

I couldn’t emphasize enough how great of a doctor is my endocrinologist Dr. Nicole Greyshock . She is absolutely amazing and caring about her patients. She pays attention to any of my concerns. She end up finding out what was wrong with me as other endocrinologists couldn’t. What characterize her the most is her amazing personality of being always very professional, compassionate, kind and humble. She is on the very top of the line ( the very best endocrinologist there is). I will highly recommend her.

My second visit to the clinic. First time the receptionist was so rude that I did not want to check out at her window. Dr. was good.
Second time, today, the receptionist was very friendly and polite.
The nurse did not introduce herself and did not ask how I am doing.
I was waiting in the exam room for the provider for 30 minutes and just reminded to the same nurse about it. "You can reschedule your appointment if you want." she said without moving from her chair.
When I finished my visit with a provider (lady PA was very good and attentive) I needed to wait for a paper and PA wanted me to wait
