Services
Our 11 acre farm, with its woods, nature trails, fields, gardens, barnyard and schoolhouse, provides opportunities for a vast amount of meaningful first hand learning experiences. Our 3 hour days may include activities such as planting bulbs, tracking wild animals in the snow, watching baby animals grow and caring for all our farm animals.
All sessions are multi-aged and are broken up by age for small group time to focus on developmentally appropriate skills. We are focused on establishing strong social emotional skills along with creating exciting experiences that make learning fun!. Student needs to be an independent bathroom user (we have adult-sized toilets with stools).
9 months, regular preschool is September-May with multiple summer programs, June/July/August. We are open Monday - Friday, 8:00am- 4:00pm. Also, there is a $70 annual enrollment fee (for the 9-month year) which is non-refundable and non-applicable to tuition. Summer programs have varied costs. Sorry, we do not offer scholarships.
We have so much to offer your children at Farm School. Come play, learn, spend time with our wonderful animals and explore the beautiful outdoors at Canterbury Creek Farm School. We typically have 4-6 one week camps and will have more information on dates and price in February. All of our camps involve interactions with our animals on the farm and taking a ride on one of our horses.

We love Canterbury Creek. We have had two children attend now, and feel it has been a wonderful experience. Not only did they have a great experience learning about and caring for the animals, but we also feel that it helped prepare them very well for kindergarten. The staff are warm, caring, and patient. We have nothing but warms regards for this school.

So thrilled my son can attend Canterbury Creek Farm School. He has his entire life to be in pretty similar, standard classroom settings. Its so nice to have something unique and fun to have him experience his fist few years of school in. Very caring and attentive teachers. Love it. My younger daughter will be attending as well.

We love the school and the staff. Our daughter is returning for another year and can't wait to see the teachers and the animals. This school allows students to learn from a creative and hands on approach that shows the children they are part of the world. The staff is very professional and care about each student.

We love Canterbury Creek! All the teachers are very caring! Where else do you kids get to ride a horse at school. Our daughter is learning so much and will be well prepared to start Kindergarten. Also one of the only schools left that has a Young 5's program in the area. Nothing but good things to say about his place!
