Heritage Trail Mercantile (previously Heritage Trail Mall) is a family-owned business and antique mall located in Northfield, a suburb of Northern Chicago. As we bid adieu to our Wilmette stomping grounds, we have excitingly re-opened in our new location on the North Shore. HTM is now hosted in a wide, open "loft-like" space that is home to 42 of Chicagoland's finest Antique & Vintage Vendors.

Our mission is to inspire our customers to curate their personal spaces with unique original art, furniture and home decor. Constantly changing inventory means visit them at least monthly. Lovely selection of traditional and transitional north-shore style furniture, lamps and accessories.

closed about a year ago and opened up in a new location at

We have loved going there for about 10 years. The new location is smaller and doesn't have the charm of the old location but I would still highly recommend....

Such a fantastic antique shop! i was surprised to find out that there was two floors packed full of super snazzy antiques! a lot of the items you'll find are household items and interior decorating knick knacks. my favorite finds are all the aged books! i really like the old fancy covers on them.

A lovely antique shop that looks small from the outside but the inside is HUGE. It took me a couple hours to get through the whole thing and that was going through most of it quickly. Highly recommend!

Incredible selection of stunning antiques. Don't be afraid there are pieces from 5000-5 dollars so it's great for any budget. The family who operates it is very kind and helpful. They are also super attentive to letting you on the cases which a lot of malls seem to do begrudgingly! Go here if you love antiques. Really it's worth the trip. We drive all the way from Bridgeport!

Always great finds if you look with eyes wide open! I found a lot of 20 Royal Copenhagen china to complete my registry for $400; basically, the cost of two RC dinner plates!
