Mike Smith Tire Pros has been in Lumberton since 2004. The owners, Mike and Sandy Smith, moved to Southeast Texas after Mike served 25 years in the U.S. Army. Originally he worked for Southeast Texas Air Rescue flying EMS missions for the local area. During this time they purchased the "Volunteer Fire Station" and opened Mike Smith Discount Wheel and Tire.
In 2009 Mike and Sandy joined the Tire Pros family and renamed the business Mike Smith Tire Pros. I needed a front end alignment due to the front tires wearing on the inside. Made appointment and they were on time getting my truck on the rack. The mechanic found issues with the lower ball joints. He brought me to my truck and showed me problem. They provided a quote to repair and made another appointment a couple days later to repair and perform the alignment. All went well and definitely could tell a difference in how the repair tighten the front suspension. Great experience with the service they provided.

I brought my 2005 Toyota Avalon to Mike Smith Tire Pros in Lumberton because I didn’t want to buy a new car and it “only” had 196,000 miles on it, and Toyota’s can last up to 300,000-350,000 miles, if taken care of. Up to this point I have been careful to change fluids, etc., but it had some problems. In just 3 days they did very high quality work and even though I didn’t want to buy a new car, I got back what is almost like a new car, and the price was roughly 2/3 what I was quoted in a different place, and half of what Toyota would want. I brought my Kia Sorento in to get new tires and an alignment. I mentioned it was making a clunking sound and I had just had it in the shop at Happy Kia For a week a month before. Lucas was great and actually found several bolts loose under the hood that I think have been loose since I had the engine replaced from the recall (Kia in Conroe did that). That's terrifying that I've been driving around with loose bolts on multiple things and not one mechanic has noticed it before. He tightened them for me and they didn't even charge me for that. I just moved here and have been looking

I always enjoyed the time there because of their friendly, fast, and of course professional service! I did tire rotation on my last visit and this time it's my annual safety inspection. Both took less than 20 minutes. What's more important is that they hired a cutieee with orange long hair as one of their receptionists who would always welcome you the moment you walk in and sit on your side or your lap if you let him, and calm down your worried nerves and send you away with his cuteness still in your mind. :)

It's so nice to have a friendly, quick, affordable shop around! The staff is always the friendliest, and has always been beyond accommodating. I've come in several times needing new tires, tire repairs, etc on a tight time crunch while my son is in school & they have always gotten the job done in a fraction of the time as other shops, & have always done it with a smile. Even the little orange bobtail shop cat will love on you while you wait. Don't waste your time anywhere else, they've beat the prices of other shops time & time again & in a fraction of the time
