Being a teenager in today's uber-competitive, social media driven society is hard work! Many of the teens we work with have issues with focus, anxiety, sadness, self-harm, body image, making and keeping friends, and communicating effectively with their families. Having a neutral party to talk to can help you sort through your feelings and set your goals and priorities.
We offer adult psychotherapy for conditions including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, adult ADHD, addiction (with a desire to recover), sexual issues, career counseling, LGBTQ concerns, relationship dissatisfaction, PTSD, and bereavement.
Treatment approach varies upon the needs of the client, but we employ techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT, focusing on changing self-defeating patterns of thinking and acting), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (coping skills for mood regulation), Psychodynamic (Insight-oriented, thinking about how your past might be impacting the present), and Mindfulness meditation practices.

We offer comprehensive psychological assessment services for children, adolescents, and adults. Evaluations consist of validated measures of intellectual functioning, personality dynamics, and/or educational achievement. Immigration evaluations for refugees, those seeking asylum, fleeing domestic violence, etc (available in English, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, and Cantonese).
Starting a new therapy practice and having difficulty putting on your "business" hat? Need help with a specific client presentation that feels outside your scope of competence? Want to learn how to implement CBT techniques in your clinical work? Dr. Singer provides one-time or ongoing consultation for other mental health professionals.
We offer counseling for couples in distress or for couples just looking to improve the quality of their connection. We are skilled in helping couples reconnect after a breach in trust, developing enhanced communication strategies, and learning how to avoid old pitfalls.
We help couples with parenting young children or children with special needs/mental health diagnoses, co-parenting strategies and dealing with separation, navigating step-parent/blended family issues, and working with the couple when one partner has a mental health diagnosis. Some other potential foci are infertility, LGBTQ issues, and family-of-origin interference.

Best thing I could have done for myself. Been there 2.5 years seeing same therapist. I don’t know about all the money problems people are having here. I use their online system to pay my copay before each online appointment. And when I’m office they would always ask if they should use the card in file I used last time.

Do not go here! The customer service and billing practices are reprehensible. And please read the previous reviews. You will see similarities with other people's experiences.
About a year ago I wrote a review about QOP because the QOP billing department would debit and credit my personal bank account at will to adjust their own accounting. I hit my breaking point when they billed improperly (billed a group code) and then covered it up later by correcting the billing, and stuck me with an increase in the balance for their mistake. I protested to the owner of the company who took no action. So I

My little one has been seeing Dr Stano for at least two years, and she has been great. She is patient and does activities with him to keep him engaged. Dr Hileman was great as well. My older preteen has met with for a few months, and she was very helpful and patient. The knock off on the star is for administrative reasons such as the difficulty of getting a hold of anyone at the front desk. Before covid it was hard to reach the Rockville office. Now it’s easier to get a hold of the therapist by name when calling. I suggest getting an email from the therapist to email her/him directly for quicker

This is a highly skilled and excellent psychotherapy practice that can handle a large volume of clients with ease. I have referred several people here, when I myself was full and all were pleased with their experience. The therapists here are really nice folks. You will not be disappointed. Great for teens as well.

Those who have been assigned to this practice for a disability assessment: DO NOT GO!!!! Call your caseworker IMMEDIATELY.
I am thoroughly disgusted with this practice. I received a call today from my partner walking home in the rain after his appointment due to your complete lack of empathy. He was so upset he refused to wait and allow me to call him a cab. Your frustration due to your tardiness and inability to start your computer should have never been taken out on a former Marine simply seeking to finalize his mental disability. He has refused to speak and eat following your appointment, stating

I go to QOP for both meds management and therapy. Keisha Watson is very knowledgeable and compassionate she helps me work on cognitive behavioral therapy to rewire the way I react to challenges. Mary June is new to the practice but she is amazing. I used to pay ridiculous amounts for an out of network psychiatrist but now I see her for my medication management and it is covered by my CareFirst and other insurance companies too. I would highly recommend both of providers for more personal, comprehensive care.

Initially, I was ecstatic to find Quince Orchard Psychotherapy because I was in need. I want to start off my saying this is no reflection on the therapist. The billing department and the front desk staff are extremely rude and treat patients horribly. Recently, I had to cancel an appointment and they attempted to charge me $100 for canceling. The 24 hour policy states that you need to call 24 hours prior to your appointment. I called throughout the day to all three offices where they did not answer. I finally got someone right before they closed and explained the situation. She warned me that in
