Cali Kids is a salon just for kids! I want your children to have a GREAT experience when they come in to have their hair cut. I have an amazing salon full of fun for the kids. Children sit in a special car salon chair, or with their parent, or in a regular chair for the older more "grown up" kids. They get to watch a movie or play a game while getting their hair done, and a special prize will be offered at the end of the haircut.

I understand getting a haircut can be scary for parents and children, and I do everything we can to make it stress free! I, Summer Groves, am the owner and have been a licensed cosmetologist for 17 years, and found my true calling working with children. Being a mom with two beautiful children, and having worked with children for many years, I understand patience, understanding and love are key to having a positive haircutting experience.

My daughter and granddaughter have been going to Summer for haircuts for years. With my former hairdresser out of commission, I decided to see what Summer could do with my very random, post-chemo hair. I am amazed! A little trim, some shape, and--voila! My hair looks like it's supposed to be this way! I'll be back! Thank you Summer!

Very fast and great haircut for my 2 year old son. She is great with kids and understands they can be a bit difficult when it comes to haircuts. She has everything to make it a good experience! Highly recommend for toddlers and anyone.

Summer did great with my toddler. He isn’t the easiest baby, he refused a nap before his appt which made it hard. Summer was understandable and never showed any frustration with his moving head.

Just went here for the first time after a bad experience at another spot.

Love this place and Summer is the best! Very good at cheering up toddlers. My son is a tough one. But she is very professional and fast. We live in Santa Rosa but happily drive up to RP for a haircut! Thank you Summer, see you soon!

Our 11 mth old Caleb got his very first haircut with Summer at Cali Kids today! I highly highly recommend this salon. I was able to make an appointment online from my phone last night. The owner summer texted me to confirm she booked the appointment and gave me some tips and tricks on what to bring with me to make the experience easier on Caleb. Summer was so sweet and patient with Caleb. She put on Mickey Mouse for him, blew bubbles, let him touch and feel the clippers and blow dryer before she used them.

Couldn't be more impressed! Our 3 year-old son has refused to get haircuts for the last year and had a wild mop on his head. We came here and Summer was super fast, distracted him, and he left with an amazing hair cut, a lollipop, and a smile.

Fabulous!! Online booking was super convenient. Summer gave my 18 month old son a great undercut. He instantly loved the convertible cars to sit in and was happy and distracted the whole time. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, thank you!

Summer is the BEST! My boys have been going to her for years and they are always so excited to go. They love playing games or watching a movie during their haircut. I am not sure why the high rating. It is just standard service. Maybe some kids feel better if they get to seat on a highchair that looks like a car?

Takes weeks to get an appointment, and then you just have to wait about 20 mins anyway. Senseless. Took quite a bit to get the hair done, and then finish it up with some product- I am not sure which or if it was kids friendly, and the hairdresser herself did not know either when we asked her.

I'll go back to Kids Cuts next time.

I can totally understand why people love this place, I went here for the first time today with my three year old son and we had a great experience! When we've tried to take him to other hair salons he hasn't wanted to sit in the big chairs and gets scared, so we've only been able to give him buzz cuts at home where he can watch his cartoons and sit in his own chair. I knew we had to check this place out when I heard they had car chairs and I'm so glad we did. Summer was so friendly and great with him and he loved the car chairs. She put on his favorite cartoon for him to watch

The only place that my son didn't cry when he was younger. He loves Summer, and now Nicole. We live 2hours away, so whenever we're in the area, we make an appointment to get his hair cut. I can't recommend this place enough!

CaliKids rocks! My three-year-old son, who is terrified of haircuts, was immediately put at ease by the loving staff here. They worked with him and made him feel comfortable... They blew bubbles, let him watch movies, and play with toys. They didn't rush the haircut, but kept it at the perfect pace for my son. Thank you ladies! We will be back :-)

Took my son mason here for his first haircut. My son's hair is waist length so it was a big deal who to chose to cut his hair.
It was the best experience ever summer was awsome.i will be bringing him back .I did post pictures so u can see the beautiful work.my son is happy with the out come..
