Services
Our goal is to make your dental visits as smooth and comfortable as possible. We've compiled a group of common questions you might have before your first visit at Davis County Dental & Orthodontics. Expect the most thorough dental exam you have ever received at your first visit to Davis County Dental.
Unlike the majority of other cancers, oral cancer 5-year survival rates have not improved over the past 20 years. That is because many cases are found too late. Most cancerous lesions can now be detected at a precancerous stage and treated easily. Your dentist and hygienist at Davis County Dental & Orthodontics perform a routine oral cancer screening at each exam.
At Davis County Dental & Orthodontics we strive to make your visit and any recommended treatment as comfortable as possible. One way to accomplish this is with nitrous oxide or laughing gas. This safe and effective method of anxiety reduction makes dental treatment a tolerable if not pleasurable experience for most patients.
Sometimes, a filling just isn't enough. If a filling becomes too large, a tooth fractures, or a tooth becomes discolored then a crown or onlay may be treatment planned. These "caps" or "hats" cover the tooth and protect it from fracture and damage while improving the shape and contour. At Davis County Dental & Orthodontics crowns are usually fabricated in one visit and made in beautiful, strong tooth colored porcelain.
While there is nothing as good as your natural teeth, dentures and partials can be a beautiful and functional way to replace missing teeth. It takes several visits to make the best dentures and partials possible, and that is exactly what Davis County Dental & Orthodontics provides. Call today about filling in your smile with functional and esthetic replacement teeth through dentures or partials!

My mom is in Hospice care and her regular dentist had sold his business during COVID. We needed a dentist to check her out as some tenderness had developed in her mouth and she was unable to eat solid food. Because of her health situation it was something we needed done soon. The entire staff from receptionist to dentist was excellent. Their attitude was professional AND caring. Two qualities that are sometimes hard to balance. Thank you Davis County Dental for taking such good care of my mom.
