The brain controls and coordinates every cell in the body. The nerve system which consists of; the brain, spinal cord, the spinal nerves and miles of the peripheral nerves connect the brain to tissue cells. If the spine has misaligned bones, called vertebrae, it is interfering with the brain to body connection.
These misaligned vertebrae are called subluxations. The nerve system is in constant communication. There are 3 trillion bits of information in and out of the brain every second. We are consciously aware of approximately 50 bits of its information per second. 80% of babies have been found to have structural damage in the neck at childbirth.

In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."

Chiropractors do not claim to treat infectious diseases. What chiropractic does is allow your body to function free of nerve system interference and closer to your full potential. Understanding the spread of infectious disease and how best to defend yourself can lessen the fear as well as your chances of being impacted by infectious pathogens.

My kids and I have been seeing Andy for 8-9 years, and we all LOVE him! He's gotten to know us, as people, not just patients. The kids are relaxed with him, while getting adjusted. We are able to get in and out, quickly. Andy will go out of his way, to work with my crazy schedule, to make sure I get my adjustments. The office staff is awesome, too!

I've have been going to see Dr Andy Harding, and Dr Scott Lowe for the past 17 years. The staff here are wonderful people and genuinely care about you. The best thing is they accept walk in. I can't count the number of times I need to see my doctor and they are booked up a month out. If you need an adjustment whether from an injury or misalignment they can fit you in anytime they are open.
