Interaction with this title company regarding the closing of our house. This was the buyers closing title company and the utter lack of communication is beyond terrible! We moved to Texas and was supposed to have our check delivered to us- it was not, we ended up having to contact our title company to get any information as to where the check was. Our title company tracked down the tracking code and located where it was - apparently it was delivered a half hour away to be picked up.
When we asked for any sort of compensation regarding this incident they said that we requested to pick it up…

I used Sheryl Aarnio once after meeting her at a networking meeting. She encouraged me to just give her a shot once and said I'd be hooked after that. She was right. I've now used her for dozens of purchase and refinance transactions. They are extremely fast (normally one day to get a title commitment), get me whatever I need in a hurry, and never turn down a closing (even with short notice).
