Incredible experience !!! I had a minor crisis with my daughters car and Chris was able to help me on the spot even tho he was extremely busy. Not once did he say he was too busy to help me. There are many car repairs shops up and down Colfax St., but I noticed that Stephens Auto was loaded with cars to service and everyone else was empty. That alone tells me a lot. People trust Stephens Auto !!!

I’m 38 years old and been using Stephens since I was 16. I never once felt like they were taking advantage of me and feel they are the most honest and reliable in the business!! Joe, the owner is a very knowledgeable and friendly man. Chris, the man who will most likely answer your call and put your worries to rest, is a huge help and also a master or his trade. I just recently went to Stephens for the first time and had a five star experience. Chris was very nice and explained things in non mechanic terms when informing me what was wrong with my car 😂 i had several things fixed and replaced and it was done the next day! They even changed a license plate bulb and washed my car all for free. Definitely turned a bummer situation into a positive experience. I highly recommend!

Joe came home to evaluate my mini van that would not start. He gave a jump start and was able to determine its a battery issue and arrange for replacement right away at the shop. They did evaluate potential other issues to make sure it was batter and battery only.
I have used them before too for my mini van's sliding door motor replacement.

Had my vehicle serviced for the second time at Stephens. First visit was for Steering/Suspension issues; most recently was for brake repair. In both instances, the quality of service was A+. Excellent work, very honest and trustworthy. The techs at Stephens are very friendly, professional and thorough in performing their job. I've been to a few different auto repair shops in the NW suburbs and Stephens Automotive is by far the best. I saw the great reviews online and decided to give them a shot when my check engine light went on. Not only was Joe extremely professional, he gave me a great break down and options when I let him know I'd be selling the car soon. Seriously can't recommend this place enough.
