Ward's Landscape Service was established in 1979 by James Ward while he was a teacher at Prosser Vocational School in New Albany, IN. Terry Dickson started working at Ward's Landscape Service in 1982 while attending Indiana University Southeast. Bob Volpert started working for Ward's in the summer of 1988 while attending Ball State University.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture in 1991 and went on to work for a senior landscape architect in Louisville, KY. Bob returned to Ward's in March of 1993. Once retired from teaching, Mr. Ward developed the nursery, and sold the company to Bob and Terry in 1995.

At Ward's Landscape Service, we provide complete sight design, planning and installation with emphasis on the home owner's goals. While many other landscape companies only service residential customers, we are capable of providing top quality service and products to residential and commercial customers.
