Joe Jacobs Sr. built Dandy Cleaners in 1955 then later sold the store to Margaret Smith. She owned Dandy until 1967 when Kenneth Hill bought it. Larry Hill, his son, who had worked with his father since 1978 is now the owner. Dandy Cleaners has been an active supporter of the local community. We provide cleaning for area schools as well as many of the local churches, police officers, race teams and businesses.

I've been a Dandy customer for over 15 years and they have been consistent the entire time. I've never had an issue with missing or damaged clothing and the prices are reasonable. I've even won the drawing for free dry cleaning a couple of times. And, it's a cool 1950s modernist building with original sign.

This place is a rip off.....They've got all these old celebs posted up on the wall, which they feel gives them the right to charge nearly $30 to get something cleaned! I could see if they did outstanding work, but they're mediocre at best. Just drive by this place.....there's several other cleaners in the area that will get the job done for a lot less.

Today I had the wonderful experience of getting my brand new levy jeans back looking worn and used. I was able to voice my opinion but not at the expense of being told there was nothing that can be done besides cutting off the unraveling threads or hold it for the owner to see. Mind you I'm being charged over $30 for jeans to be cleaned when they would have come out better had I thrown them in a dry cleaning bag in my own washing machine.
I also was fortunate enough to speak with Tanisha who felt the need to lean over into my phone that was on my shoulder to tell the person I was speaking with

Not the best side of town but great service. They give you tickets with the clothes count on them, great cleaning job, and the receipt is itemized with your brand and type of clothing. They email or text you when ready for pick-up. They even did a great job when an entire beer was spilled on a favorite light brown leather jacket and shoes and they look like new!
