At Trunkey Dental, your family's health and safety is our top priority. Our sterilization procedures exceed the Center for Disease Control guidelines. All handpieces and instruments are heat-sterilized after each use. We only use ADA-approved disinfectants, disposable gloves, masks, eye protection & barrier covers at all times.
When Dr. Donald Trunkey first started dental school, he had a mouth full of broken-off teeth and was very embarrassed to smile. The shame he felt about his own dental problems led Dr. Trunkey to develop his first rule when dealing with patients-NO GUILT. So, on your first visit to Trunkey Dental, there will be NO LECTURES.
At Trunkey Dental, our staff is dedicated to providing you with our "Five Star" service. Each member of our team works together to meet all the dental needs of our patients in a gentle, professional, and caring manner. We take great pride in our knowledge and experience and are committed to making your next visit a great one.
Even if you practice the best oral hygiene at home, we highly recommend that you visit us at least twice a year. This will give your dentist an opportunity to look for any dental issues that are developing. You may not always see or feel developing problems in their early stages. Usually, once dental problems are visible or painful, they are in their later stages.
It is our earnest hope that you will never have the painful experience of a dental emergency. However, if that dreaded day ever comes for you, we will be here to meet your need. While the staff at Trunkey Dental is passionate about preventative dentistry, we take pride in meeting your dental emergencies and finding the solution that will take away the pain and get you back on the road to good oral health.

I met this amazing team/family yesterday. I went to my appointment feeling extremely ashamed for my lack of dental self care. My anxiety and emotions were off the chart.
