Parents are allowed to observe their child's class from the balcony area. However, we are trying to minimize the amount of people inside the gym, so we do not encourage you to stay each week. The Ellis School of Gymnastics, owned by Ginger Ellis Caldwell and David Ellis, is a family-run gymnastics school that has been in operation since 1971.

We've tried 4 different local gymnastics places for our daughter (due to moves and convenience of class times) and this is #2 of 4 on our list :) Obviously, as most people know, this gym has awesome and committed instructors with deep roots in the sport (my husband took classes here when he was a kid) who truly have an interest in teaching your child, but the whole "waiting list" thing because they're so busy (we waited for almost 2 years to get a spot), insane parking situation (wintertime is a nightmare), and cramped viewing space for parents is just unbearable. Great programs where they really make the kids work and learn to perform independently. However, the sign up process is completely ridiculous. Parents of returning students have to wait in line in person on one specific day or risk being shut out of a class they may have attended for years. 2014-2015 sign ups have taken the insanity a step further requiring boy sign up and 2 hr wait one day and girls the next. They are lucky that they have a waiting list or this bs wouldn't fly. Could you please try to think of a less labor intensive system that prefers families with no life?
