I want to share my mother's funeral services experience. The day my mother passed away, One person came and picked up her body by himself. Then the church they said we can use for my moms viewing wasn't available and they offered a cave looking grotto. I had to find a church 6 days before my moms burial. I was happy to find a church for them at such a short notice. Once the services were in effect at the viewing, there was no TV for my moms memory video I made. By far the worst experience ever with this place, so unprofessional, and lack of communication. Felipa made our loss feel like we would never put my uncle to rest in peace. Because Felipa forgot her passport while trying to cross our uncles body to Mexico it delayed the viewing we had been waiting for for 4 months, another 4 hours. Like?? If you do this very often why would you forget your passport ?? Let alone the documents that were incorrect and delayed weeks and weeks because they failed to confirm information taken was correct. Torres Mortuary went above and beyond to ensure that my grandfather's services were peaceful, well organized, and absolutely amazing. We had not told the mortuary that we had a Dodgers Theme, my grandfather was a HUGE Dodgers fan. As soon as they caught on they brought out a rug to lay in front of his coffin, a Dodger symbol to place next to his coffin, and several other things to help bring our theme together. I know COVID made it much busier and I tried to cut them some slack, but this was beyond terrible. My mom passed on January 21st and called Torres multiple times for any updates on when they would pick her up or any kind of info. I called at least 20 times from 21st of January to March 10th and was told each time that I would get a call back in 15 mins or less and never got a call back. When I finally voiced my displeasure with their 1800 number l, I got a call back from the manager and he too was not informed enough to take my call, asking if I paid for certain services when I already did. If I could give negative stars I would. My son in law passed away 2/2021. We felt fortunate that Torres Mortuary was able to help us. That unfortunately was the last time we were treated with respect. Daniel and Felipa were both rude and unsympathetic. I took the week off work to deal with the arrangements. Erika was nice and helpful. Finally Daniel called me on Sunday and first thing he questioned me on date of service. I explained to him that Felipa had confirmed date and time. she then got on phone and told me she had not confirmed date and " you know you are not the only one". I mean really

Saying goodbye to a love one is never easy, but Daniel, Ralph and their incredible amazing and compassionate staff made it peaceful for our family. My family and I are filled with gratitude. Torres Mortuary did my mother's services and funeral this Tuesday 12/10/19. They did an amazing and beautiful job from the first day that my siblings and I walked in and set the arrangements and to the final day of my mother's funeral. If my mother was looking down from heaven, she would say "all this for me! It's so beautiful". The staff took care of everything and made sure family and friends were taken care of during the services. I recommend Torres Mortuary.

Leslie at Torres took care of all the details for us. The funeral turned out beautiful and just perfect. Leslie even arranged 10 doves for us to release after the burial. The team at Torres were caring and took care of the logistics for us, like the additional escorts that we needed at the last minute to picking up the memorial books, pictures and flowers. Not a client however they have a man that works there in a wheelchair. Extremely rude the parking lot was virtually empty so I parked there to go to the flower shop. He yelled at me telling me he was going to have my car towed. When I came out he had moved his van so close to my car that I couldn't get in. I had to call the police to have him move it. I left a message for the owner Mr Torres and he did not call me back even with an apology. Evidently he does this to anybody that parks there do not patronize this business until they fix that issue.

It has been over a month since my last review and again still highly disappointed with Daniel though he contacted me to let me know my fathers Death certificate would be mailed two weeks from my first complaints we are now in July and still no Death Certificate. I am beyond let down by Daniel and his team I would not recommend them to an enemy.
