Wonderful website with detail information on each cabin available and amenities. Once I booked, I got a call shortly after to discuss the stay and the next steps and see if I had any questions. Great communication via email and text to ensure I had all the information I needed for our stay near Asheville. This entire process finding a cabin for a brief getaway up to checkout has been seamless. The cabin itself was exactly as described and very clean and tidy. I would definitely check out any of their cabins if looking in the area again!

Property that they offered was nice however not managed well. Several chipped glasses. Cooking utensils in the drawer had baked on egg (which took some time to scrap off), only 2 of 5 jets in the hot tub worked (it was nice and clean though),check out time was agreed upon and day before they reneged upon our agreement from the onset. Sorry to say but would not even use a company like this again. I prefer a company you can trust.

I loved it and the whole family was happy. We had 6 adults and a baby and it never felt cramped. The view in the morning was gorgeous. The owners furnished almost everything and we enjoyed cooking meals instead of always eating out. We will return and use graybeard rentals again.

This cabin sparkles with personality and is very well done. Best experience I have had with a short term rental and first time with Greybeard. I was impressed with the extra care that was taken to make sure everything was as promised or better. Annie's Cabin is as comfortable as being at home and with a great view. We went in early December and the cabin was decorated for the holidays with a lit Christmas tree. Someone has put a lot of thoughtful touches all through the cabin.

If you want to clean dishes all day by hand and towels including some other dirty kitchen items this is the place for you. Turned on the fan because the smoke alarm goes off easily dust bunnies come raining down. Want a fire be prepared to clean ashes and bring firewood in. The wind comes in the very small bathroom window. Nowhere to put your clothes. The best part is you get to pay $250 for the cleaning fee and an envelope for a tip for the cleaner. Poor customer service too. Avoid this 5-star place.

The Serenity Mountain Cabin was one of the best vacation rentals I have stayed. This gorgeous, immaculate mountain gem has so much to offer. We enjoyed exploring the Asheville area during the day and returning to this retreat and relaxing in the well maintained hot tub or sitting around the fire pit with a beverage of choice. We ate our breakfasts and dinners on the porch/ outdoor dining area, just soaking up all the beautiful views. Fishing and hiking to the on site waterfall are other amenities for your enjoyment. We felt at home in this beautifully built and decorated log home. Our only complaint

We stayed at the amazing high cliffs house! A truly unique design with spacious bedrooms, living rooms, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The most impressive part was the view. We had the most joyful time watching the clouds, trees, and sunset from the balcony and firepit area. After visiting both smoky mountains (TN) and black mountain (NC), I really think the black mountain is more beautiful. It is a perfect getaway destination.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lakeshire on Lake Lure. Everything was amazing - the house, the lake, the mountains, the amenities. Greybeard made it all extremely easy and pleasant. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation or rental company. Everything was perfect.

We stayed at Carrie's Escape and had a great time. The cabin had rustic aesthetics but was modern where it counts. The property was great, we were welcomed by a group of turkeys when we pulled in the drive, and had a few deer, plenty of rabbits, and the goats next door were pleasantly vocal. Overall a great experience, actually thought about making an offer to buy.

Enjoyed a wonderful relaxing week at the Serenity Lake Cabin! Loved all the balconies and the amazing views. Every window had a beautiful scene. We woke up the first morning to see a bear walking down the street in front of us! He just looked looked up at us on the balcony and kept walking. We were a little early for the berries and grapes to be picked so may just have to make another trip later this summer. It was so quiet and still and secluded, but not too far away to go to Black Mountain or even Asheville for dinner.
