I hope this review is helpful for future circumstances like mine. My husband and I had an appointment today with the Edge Design Studio for our 3rd Edge property purchase. We drove almost 3 hours to get to our appointment with our 2 week old newborn baby only to get there and feel unwelcome and in a way discriminated.
We were not made aware that we could not bring our baby and the way our “designer” explained it didn’t make things any better. She said “our other guests will feel uncomfortable and will not enjoy their experience with your kid in the showroom.”

Poor quality
1. They decided to skip our condo on installing the blinds, then acted like they were on back order. Then all the buildings being built after ours were getting blinds when we still didn’t have ours. They took an extra month from the time they told us they would install them to actually get them. If it wasn’t for our realtor helping us out we might still be waiting.
2. Whoever labeled our gas line labeled them wrong and now our condo’s gas has been turned off two months in a row because the condo they crossed it with has not moved in. Came home from vacation at night with no

Me and my fiancé had such a great experience with edge homes! We struggled with other builders. Edge was honest and they kept us updated through out the way. They were on time with the time frame and upgraded stuff at no cost because of stock running out and locked In prices from the start. Every rep that worked for edge homes was kind. I moved almost an hour away from where I live now and working with edge has made it so easy. I recommend 1000%.

We purchased our Edge Home in 2016. We have already had to tear out the master bath shower due to to poor installation. According to our plumber the drain was set to high and the concrete for the shower pan was not set correctly. We had water leaking into the dry wall and settling underneath the shower pan around the drain. We could not see the water, but noticed when we stepped into the shower water would appear from beneath around the drain. No matter how much we cleaned the shower it always smelled of mildew. I called Edge but they would not help due to the 2 year warranty being passed. When

From our initial meeting with our agent, Chase Joyner( we highly recommend her) to Emily Rowley at FIRST COLONY MORTGAGE to our construction manager Javier, everyone was very professional and courteous. Our house looks amazing and we love our neighborhood. Best decision we’ve made was building with EDGE!

Edge has been fantastic to work with. We've loved their professionalism and quality every step of the way. Incredible friendly, respectful and helpful.
They also maintained our agreed-upon price even when COVID sent lumber prices to the moon.
Loved working with them, would do it again in a second, but we'll probably wait a decade or so and just enjoy their handiwork ;)

Edge built us a beautiful and solid home! We've moved in a year ago.
We fell in love with Edge's signature design: the huge windows on the Great Room, abundance of natural light and openness of the floor plan.
Wade was our builder, and he kept the subcontractors on task, and us informed. The location (Hidden Canyon Estates) is surrounded with natural beauty, breathtaking views, trails galore, and fresh air. I wish landscaping was included.

Moved into my townhome with Edge about a month ago and I LOVE it. I looked almost everywhere and felt like Edge had the best combination of price, location, quality, and all around honesty as a builder. The build time was about 6 months, but I planned on that and was able to move in with equity in my home. I would build with them again in a heartbeat.

We have not yet taken possession of the townhome we are in the process of purchasing so this will be updated further later.

Our salesperson has been top notch. She has been easy to get a hold of and helped us through the process. Past that the contractors have been dificult to get a hold of and lack updates. It took forever for a designer to reach out to us and she made several mistakes along the way which was frustrating and almost cost us thousands of dollars.

The timing of completion has fluctuated several months which has made it very difficult to plan anything. I will update this review

BEWARE OF THEIR CONTRACT!

We are relocating to Utah next year & fell in love with the Suncrest area (Draper, UT). After lots of looking, we fell in love with a lot in the Hidden Canyon Estates Community and wanted to build the Vincent floor plan.

My husband is an attorney and did a thorough review of their contract and we were shocked and disappointed at just how unfriendly it is to the buyer. We requested changes but Edge refused to even entertain our requests.

Our concerns with the contract:
-Once you take possession of the home, Edge is not responsible for any fixes - you must go through

Don't ever build with Edge homes! Poor quality, communication and customer service. They gave us the wrong property lines for our fence and we are now having to pay $1500 to move our entire fence over. House is already falling apart after 4 months.

We were super excited to build our first home. First I will say that I loved the options that were available and that I love our home now. They did cut so many corners, for example we replaced the light fixtures in our home right after we moved in when we took their light fixtures on there were no electric boxes which is extremely against code when we contacted edge about this they brushed it off and said it was not against code. I have had multiple home inspectors tell me how illegal this was. It makes me nervous to think about how many homes have code violations in them. There have been multiple

I've had to tell myself "it could be worse" way too many times in the short time we've lived in our Edge home, less than 6 months. At first things went smoothly but once we moved in we really noticed how poorly the quality of the home is. Our dream of building a home quickly turned into a pain in the a**. I never thought we'd be filing so many 'Customer Requests' in a brand new home. Our windows didn't come with screens so we had to remind the contractor multiple times that we didn't get any, once they were finally delivered we had to install them

Update: also screwed us with parking. Changed plans while we lived there for the final buildings. We had to have them come back and fix things at least 10 times. Including when it leaked under a wall when someone pressure washed outside? I didn't think that would cause water to come under a wall.

The short version:
If you want a new house, and you can't quite afford custom, I highly recommend Edge. But no matter who you build with, you'll get pretty frustrated if you don't keep a few things in mind: (1) You're not getting a perfect house. There will be imperfections, and the more you accept that, the happier you'll be. (2) It will take a long time to build. (3) You will have to help your contractor stay on top of things. (4) It'll cost more than you expect it to, you'll spend more than you planned, and you won't get everything you want. (5) When you do finally move in, 1-4 will all be
