I have always loved Marino's, however the food is no longer worth the price. It is not the same Marino's I once loved and that is too bad. Service was a bit slow and the place was pretty much empty. The wedding soup was not hot, and I found a hair in my salad. Those amazing rolls that they served do not taste the same, something is not right, It's just not the same place and that makes me sad, it really does.

Alfredo is watery and tastes nasty, 100% do not recommend, I even asked why it was so watery and they said it was just like that, literally just taste’s like water. I told them it was gross and they didn’t even try to fix it and waiter had an attitude

Delicious food, awesome ambiance, and top notch service. Freshness was clear in every aspect of the meal, and portions were hearty and affordably priced. Server was kind, friendly, and cheerful.

Disappointed for sure. Did curbside pickup. My husband's meal itself was good, but the salad, wedding soup, rolls, and chicken francaise left nothing to be desired. It was our 1st time here and sadly our last.

Growing up on Italian food in a Sicilian home for over 50 years this place by far is worse than that joke the Olive Garden. Good service, but bland food either has too much basil in it or not enough garlic and God knows what the hell they're doing in the kitchen. Don't waste your money here. You're better off going to Dollar General and getting some Ragu and spaghetti's and making it at home. A complete insult to the Italian heritage.

I ordered the Seafood Plate that included white fish, scallops and shrimp all lightly breaded and fried to perfection. My sides were angel hair pasta and wedding soup.
I highly recommend Marino's.
I loved it.

In an area filled with good Italian restaurants, you can do a lot better than this place. The first thing you will notice on entering is the sad, withdrawn interior decor, its blandness fitting for what comes next. I decided to play it safe and go with some ravioli. I will give the chef credit where it's due, the wedding soup that came out first was somehow completely devoid of any flavor besides water and oil. Next came the entree, and I was not prepared for this. The picture really does not do justice to just how sad this thing was. I have had dollar store sauces with better flavor, and I am

The food was very good but the service was very, very poor. When we walked in we were the only ones there, shortly after a few more people came in. We watched food come out of the kitchen but ours never seemed to come out. Some of the other people were leaving as we were getting our food. It even took along time to pay. We gave our credit card then the waitress disappeared for about 15 min. I will probably not go back, but the food was very good.

One of my favorite secret hideaway spots. Food is always great. Atmosphere makes you feel like you are visiting family. You can't go wrong. This Italian is the real deal. Give it a try.

Just stopping in town for the night. Decided on Italian and happy we did. Very nice dining room with tables and booths. I can't stop wishing I had another serving of the pasta with greens and hot peppers. A large serving of spaghetti piled on top with sautéed spinach and peppers sliced thin and really not too hot. A delicious dish, garlicky and tasty. My husband had spaghetti with sauce, meatballs and mushrooms. He loved it and actually finished it. We also had a side salad and a buttered roll.
I had to take my leftovers with and enjoyed it for dinner again the next night.
I would go back

I don't review many places but Marino's Resturant is so incredible I had no choice! From the Chicken Alfredo sauce to the pizza and penne with red sauce you can tell there is a true Italian in the kitchen. If you can't make it into the resturant take advantage of Door dash or Grub hub delivery services you won't disappointed. Marino's is simply phenomenal!

After several months of trying I finally made it to Marino's! Certainly worth the wait. The dinner buffet starts at 4pm so I thought I was really smart by getting there early. I wasn't expecting a family of 50 showing up for a birthday party. I've been to many Italian family functions over the years so I knew that there was going to be a lot of energy in the room and to be patient with the servers. I'm just glad they let me order the buffet. The pasta with vodka sauce was fantastic as was the chicken and sausage with peppers. The eggplant parm was good but for my taste the

Excellent food! Great service. Weird hours. From the best I can tell, this is one of those great hole in the wall places. I only found it because I live pretty close and saw the sign. Their lunch buffet was excellent, kept fresh and cheap! In the midst of a town of a million Italian restaurant, this one stands out as better than most

What a great little find! Our group of 8 really enjoyed a nice family meal - kids ate off of the adult and kids menus. Appetizers were delicious: calamari, mozzarella sticks and bruschetta. And our whole table ate up our meals! Highly recommend!

The homemade pasta and bread are delicious. I've tried the manicotti, wedding soup, spaghetti, alfredo and buffet and all have been outstanding. Mrs. Marino is a sweetheart and all guests are treated like family. We drive here from Akron to eat the best Italian food in NE Ohio!

This place has been around for a while but we always forget about it. So we decided Saturday night let's do the buffet because we can try a little bit of everything. Saturday night they have a buffet from 4 to 8 and 2 main entrees on the buffet (not sure if they change every week) but I called and asked what was on the buffet and that night was eggplant parm and chicken francie ( I think that is how you spell it) the eggplant was really good and the chicken was super moist and melted in your mouth. Fresh baked bread was a real treat with the peppers and oil that we ordered which were really

Let me start by saying that the service was pleasant and friendly. This place definitely has a "diner" type feel and look. We ordered the chicken parm and a salmon with crab cake with some type of sauce over it. I also got the wedding soup. The soup had very little flavor to it so that was very disappointing since I love wedding soup. The chicken parm tasted and looked like a frozen/store bought chick parm:( I was not a fan of the sauce at all, again kinda "cheap" tasting. The salmon crab cake was awful. The salmon tasted bad and the sauce was also not good. This meal cost

Loved the fried portabella appetizer and veal salmbaltica. The bread had melted butter on it as well. We all enjoyed our meals and the service was great. My parents liked the ravioli and chicken francais. The prices were cheap too! If you're looking for decent Italian food this is a good bet.

I'm not shocked to be the first reviewer. I imagine most of the customers here do not own computers, drive Buicks, and watch 60 Minutes. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken parm, but R's Manicotti was a mess; overcooked to the point that the cheese separated. Our friends and their kids all enjoyed their food, so it seems like bad luck for R. Also, it was a bit pricey for Youngstown. I want to say that I'll return, but there are so many Italian restaurants in Youngstown that it seems doubtful.
