Powers RV Park & Mobile Homes is nestled on 20 acres under a canopy of more than 50 beautiful oak trees, providing a uniquely peaceful, serene country atmosphere but still closely located to all the city necessities. I have lived there before. Very clean, well maintained and the owners are very friendly and respectable people that go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable stay.
I've been here for almost 4 years. This park has very good management, it is kept up better than any park I've ever seen, and the owner is always looking at ways to improve. It's very quiet, and everything you need is right in the area. So call, get you a spot, and see for yourself. I have lived here before.

Nice campgrounds, great people! Extended stay for work (20 months). Older front part of campground full of huge mature Oak trees...great shade to keep the sun off the campers...rear section newer without the huge Oak trees but has 3 small ponds for view and fishing...ample space between lots, enough that everyone has some yard space, with concrete patios. In really heavy rain the front center section will hold some water but it drains quickly. A bayou runs the length of the front part where the entrances are, more fishing. No swimming in the ponds or bayou, Gators are a possibility as they can

Don't really care what was said on the bad reviews, I've been here for almost 4 years very good management, the park is kept up better than any park I've seen. Even though the park don't need updated he is always looking at ways to improve the park. It's very quiet, and everything you need is right in the area. So call , get you a spot and see for yourself.

Convenient location alongside Airline Hwy. Price is slightly higher than other RV parks in area. Many shaded spots with concrete patios (sunny spots toward back of property) and gravel roads throughout. Limited laundry facilities were inexpensive but left marks on clothing several times. Property looks to have several long-term residents. Generally quiet with the occasional traffic noise during rush hour. You can feel the train when it passes (didn't find this bothersome).
