I met Isis at Enchanted Forest, a music and arts festival nestled in the forest of northern california in 2012. I remember approaching her to ask to take her photo, as she was decked out. This woman is SO talented!

She even went out of her way to drive to the south side of the island (30+ minutes) for a sunrise shoot... ON A SATURDAY!! I can't say enough wonderful things about working with Cadence. I looked through 25+ photographers in Maui and when I landed on her portfolio, I knew she was "the one." We are truly lucky that we got to see her brilliance in action. Cadence is wildly creative, intuitive and has a diligent attention to detail. Wow, what a wonderful time we had taking our maternity photos with Cadence. She immediately made us feel at ease and was an expert at making it feel like an easy morning hanging out with a friend, while also gently directing us to get the best shots. I’ve followed Cadence for a while on social media and have always been struck by the natural beauty she finds in all of her subjects. Plus I have watched and rewatched (and cried) seeing the videos she’s made of births. We couldn’t have picked a better photographer to document our special time. Cadence is not only a gifted artist, but a practiced communicator. She made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. Cadence is absolutely amazing and a dream to work with. She helped me plan my elopement from NY and gave me many recommendations on MUAs in Maui. She went above and beyond when we had a minor hiccup getting the proper permit approvals to get married in the spot we wanted to. I am so happy we chose Cadence to do our family photo shoot! I'm not the most comfortable person in front of the camera but somehow Cadence put me at ease. I had a vision of dry yellow grass in the slopes of the mountains she NAILED IT. I would highly recommend Cadence if you want someone willing to go that extra Mile to complete your vision - smiling and stoked all the while. Also note she is GREAT with kids! I love what she photographed of my 10 & 11 year old children. Again, highly recommend using Cadencia Photography.

Cadence is amazing. Truly. She captured our vow renewal at Twin Falls and the pictures look magical. She manages to get the most beautiful photos that somehow seem organic and natural. She highlights the beauty of the island and the people she is photographing. She even managed to get amazing pictures of my wild and crazy kids (6 and 4). To bare oneself in front of the lens is a true test in self-love, as well as trust in the camera’s operator. Doing this as a pregnant woman, well that decidedly took a level of courage that I didn’t know I… possessed. The sensitivity around my body and the way it was portrayed shaped a huge amount of how I walked through the world for those ten moons; In that deep vulnerability, Cadence was like a crystalline mirror walking beside me, allowing me to radiate my highest self throughout our entire shoot.

We had such an amazing experience with Cadencia, she is very down to earth and makes taking photos (especially in awkward situations, like half naked on a beach) much more comfortable. Our photos turned out… better than I could have imagined and what I loved the most is she captures the natural beauty and doesn’t need to do a ton of editing to make her photos look great. I will definitely use her again for family photos when we go back to the island.

We found her through a recommendation from our officiant (the equally impressive Chrissy Kapoor) and as soon as we saw her photography we knew that we wanted her to capture our elopement. Cadence was an absolute pleasure to work with!!!! - immensely talented, creative, and most of all an incredible human being! We met on venice beach in the early AM to take individual and group shots, movement, lifestyle, and portraits. We could have continued shooting all day without even realizing. There are not even stars on YELP to rate this phenomenal photographer- a true talented gem of a human and artist. Cadence is a magician when it comes to capturing light, a certain glance, a sparkling moment- she is a wizard with freezing time at the most opportune moment and you will be forever grateful that moment is captured- bc it is so so beautiful through her lens.
