Huntington Hospital used to be one of the best hospitals in Pasadena and it used to be my favorite hospital but unfortunately not anymore! I don’t know what has changed in this hospital! I went there six days ago with a sharp pain in my Upper abdominal and Diarrhea and I had a referral from urgent care that stated my symptoms and recommended procedures. I had also two sheets of blood work that was done just two days prior to my visit to the hospital. No one seems interested to pay attention to what was written in the referral paper or take a thorough look at the two sheets of blood work! I was

My elderly mother was just there with dementia and Covid, staff there has absolutely no communication skills. An elderly lady with dementia and Alzeihmers was discharged WITHOUT letting the family know. I called at 3pm to check on my mother then again at 6pm. At 6 pm the nurse tells me my mother was discharged to a nursing home. I specifically asked to be notified with any changes regarding my mother and it was like talking to a brick wall, no communication with each other let alone the family. Not once did a doctor contact me and let me know her condition. I an extremely disappointed. I had my

Let me say I was born at this hospital and as a kid growing up for emergencies we came here and were always treated well. I don't know what changed but stay away. I had a flu and stomach issue and waited 7 hours before quitting and leaving. I literally had to pull the line out of my arm because nobody from staff bothered to check on me for hours on end. These people don't ask if you're cold, need water, or have to use the bathroom. But yeah huntington keep excusing your poor service with 'short staffed'. I wonder if they will charge my insurance less for being 'short staffed'. It shouldn't take

Spent 12 hours in the ER. Sat on a gurney in the ER lobby the entire time. Only 1 nurse out of the 5 or so I interacted with was friendly or helpful. The rest acted like I was bothering them if I asked a question. Talked to a social worker for 2 minutes and two doctors for about 5 minutes each. Received dinner. Received no medical service. Was billed $5,000 to my insurance and I have to pay the ER co-pay. One of the worst experiences of my life.

The very best hospital in Los Angeles County/Socal!!! My parents over the past years have had a couple medical emergencies. Thankfully, the expertise of the doctors, nurses, and staff at Huntington Memorial Hospital made a significant difference which in turn aided in their recovery. My kids were also born at this hospital. The maternity and post delivery wards were a pleasant experience. Highly recommend Huntington Memorial!

I just want to get this out of the way, the staff is wonderful. My time at the hospital was very pleasant. Unfortunately, their billing department leaves a lot to be desired. I was charged about $1600 more than I should have. Obtaining this refund is still ongoing. I have received half of the payment but every time I call, they tell me 6 - 10 days I should received the other half. This is 5 months later. What really makes me so mad is how FAST they want your money but when they make a mistake, they take their sweet, sweet time. The billing department

I had an upset stomach and the usual activities that follow. I had spoked to my gastroenterologist early in the day who recommended that I take some home remedies that worked temporarily. My wife drove me over later in the night to the Emergency Room. The Emergency Room staff took my vital signs right away. Then the Admission Staff verified my insurance coverage. I was taken to a holding area near the Emergency Room I was in a single room area. It was a little cool the nurse added a warm blanket. I was given medicine to relax my stomach. An IV was placed in my arm and I was checked for COVID-19
