Cheryl Richardson graduated from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York with a B.A. in History with a concentration in Asian History in 1984. After graduation, she received a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, where she served for twenty-two years. While serving in the military, she attended American University's Washington College of Law and graduated in 1997.
Upon retiring from the military in 2004, Ms. Richardson joined the firm of J.D. Brown, PC, spearheading that firm's Elder Law practice area. Ms. Richardson is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Cobb County Bar Association and the State Bar of Hawaii. Ms. Richardson served as an Associate Judge for the Marietta Municipal Court from 2014 - 2016.
