I moved to DeLand 6 years ago, but never had a need for a mechanic until recently. A mechanic recommended by a friend did not have Saturday hours, and remembering I had recently received a flyer with discount coupons from LP & Sons Auto Care, I decided to try them out.
I was met by a very friendly and knowledgeable receptionist who wrote up my work order and covered all the next steps I could expect, including when my vehicle might be ready. I had rear brake rotors and pads replaced as well as an oil change and general inspection completed. I was surprised to receive a thorough and detailed inspection

Finally found a auto repair shop that is professional, polite, fix what they are supposed to fix, keep you informed, and follow up after the service. They are also very reasonable price wise. Can’t say enough good things about them. Will definitely use them again and will not hesitate to recommend them.

My Jeep hit the 100k mark and of course, the check engine light came on just days prior to that. I needed a new thermostat. I was able to book online and they got me in the next day. They returned my car sooner than expected after I opted to add some routine maintenance repairs to the list. Luis and Max were very communicative and made sure I understood everything that was needed. My Jeep is running great. I would definitely recommend this business and will use their services again!

My fuel pump on my 2006 Toyota Solara went out all of a sudden when I was driving one day. I googled several shops in my town and chose LP and Sons to fix my car because of the good ratings they had. I know a little bit about cars myself and I already knew what was wrong with the car. So if they weren't honest with me, I would know. I brought it in and they had me up and running in 2 days. They didn't lie or make things up, they told me it was the fuel pump. I've been to other mechanics in this area "Liars Plus" and "Liar Kingdom" that straight up lied to me before with other repairs-and they lost

This is most honest auto repair shop I have ever came across. I had over heard a customer getting a free coupon in the mail for loyalty points and was impressed by how they respect they’re customers, was my first impression. I had something going on with my head lights for my Lexus that needs some tlc and they are going to be doing the repairs this Friday. I had the inspection done yesterday and I have faith in them to have repairs without any huge expense. I had paid 56 dollars for the inspection but they are going to be putting that towards the diagnostics. So far impressed

Very friendly , professional and accommodating. Was one of the best experiences with an auto service company I ever had. Especially given the time frame I requested. Entire brake, rotor and fluid replacement in less than 2 hours...FANTASTIC!!! My pup, Bella, and myselfreceived the royalty treatment which I have the feeling isn't reserved for anyone in particular. Highly recommended.

Excellent Service and very knowledgeable.. Went in for an oil change and was also having problems with a tail light.. They checked all sensors and made necessary fixes without over charging for them unless necessary.. I will1 definitely bring all of our vehicles to Lp and Son as well as referring people to them..

From bringing to end everyone here made the stress of getting my VW fixed, a lot less stressful. They went above and beyond to make sure everything an my car, and I mean EVERYTHING was in working order. I went in for a timing chain and they even changed my out reverse light. My car now runs better than it did when I bought it. I won’t take my car anywhere else from now on.

I took a Kia hybrid to the shop. I was charged $122.97 +tax for the diagnoses. Then the repair was $421.81. I paid $580.00 total. I was never given a written diagnosis report. I was still having issues. I took it to DeLand Kia. Diagnosis was $99.00. They found the issue and performed the repairs. Because the dealership made the repair they voided… the diagnosis charge, a normal practice for dealerships service. I would have save about $150 if I have taken the car to Dejand Kia on the first place.
