Elizabeth & William met while students at Southwest Acupuncture. They have been married and practicing acupuncture since the Winter of 1996-1997. They founded the Iowa Acupuncture Clinic in 1997. They are the parents of two incredible children, Jazmin and Bodhi, who view the clinic as a family business and share their parent's passion for health, wellness and organic living.
During a treatment we might need to access various parts of your body, usually your arms, legs, and back. If you are coming from work, we have hangers for your business clothes and we can provide you with a cover during your treatment. It is very important to have nourishment in your system during an acupuncture treatment.
Herbal medicine is the use of natural substances, including food, to treat health conditions. According to ancient experience and holistic medical theory, every substance has an effect. The goal in herbal medicine is to complement the innate ability of the body and mind with natural products to heal by providing strength and nourishment while removing toxins, pathogens and stressors.
The Iowa Acupuncture Clinic is a holistic acupuncture clinic and we treat any condition that presents. Below is a listing of our specialties. Some conditions can be quickly improved and others can take months of work. No matter the situation, our clinic seeks to help the individual gain health and wellness.
The range of prices can vary with differences of health conditions treated. We accept cash, check, debit, and all credit cards except American Express. All clients are asked to pay in full at time of visit even if you have insurance coverage. We will provide receipts to send in to your insurance carrier for you to be reimbursed.

The right side of my face was paralyzed from Bell’s Palsy. It was terrifying! A friend recommended Bill and Beth. Bill was able to get me in quickly. Within 12 hours of my acupuncture treatment, my face started to improve. Within 2 visits, my face was almost back to normal. Now I am fully recovered. Now I tell everybody about these guys! Whether you are dealing with serious medical issues or preventing issues, these guys are amazing!

I highly recommend the Iowa Acupuncture Clinic. The front staff is so friendly and I love both Elizabeth and William they are awesome humans and really care about their clients. 5 stars all the way! I have an inflammatory condition I have battled for years and I always feel so relaxed after my sessions. I am and have been a big fan of acupuncture as a treatment option because of this awesome business!

I started treatments with Bill over two years ago upon recommendation from my chiropractor for female hormone imbalance and I saw improvement after my first session, feeling great after a couple of years! I haven't had personal experience with Beth, the other practitioner in the office, but have heard wonderful things from trusted folks. Bill takes a holistic approach to wellness and makes great suggestions for all kinds of ailments: colds, flu, sore muscles, you name it. I wouldn't know what to do without him!

My initial appt w Elizabeth was amazing, plain and simple. Before submitting any paper we began chatting and she asked me when I was in an accident, it caught me off guard as I had no idea what she was talking about. Subsequently she asked me to stick out my tongue and I complied. She informed me she noticed my tongue was crooked. This stemmed from an auto accident in 1984, this encounter was some 20 years later. I have been treated by both of the Terrills and both are solid. Unfortunately I did not begin with the Terrills and after approximately three providers I stumbled across the Terrills

I started treating in 1997 with Bill. I had treated for several conditions throughout the years. I moved away in 2008. Sadly, I have never been able to find a practitioner as fantastic as Bill. I have found many who practice acupuncture; however, they do not share the same connection, passion, knowledge and respect for traditional Chinese medicine in its totality.

Great place for acupuncture! The staff are amazing and always very friendly. I have only received acupuncture treatments from Beth but she is great. Beth is very caring and creates a warm and safe place to be. I feel like she really listens to me and imparts her wisdom for helping me. I highly recommend receiving acupuncture here!
