When I started working with Jae, the owner and chef of Easy Street Catering, I thought we were going to have a great experience together. Unfortunately, this was not the case.
I contacted Jae asking for catering for a very small backyard wedding and initially he seemed willing to work with me; that is until I asked for revisions to the menu. He took weeks to respond to my emails/phone calls or issue revisions. One month before my wedding, Jae took an almost month long vacation which is fine, however; he didn't leave anyone in charge of his affairs while on vacation! And as you might have

Very unhappy with the Jae and his catering company. The lack of communication is astonishing. We were looking forward to doing business with him when he did return calls, emails, or texts; leaving me last minute to find a new caterer because he didn't have the decency to contact me to let me know he wasn't interested in revisions or my event. Cannot stress enough how disappointing this whole experience was with this place. Save yourself the stress and go with another company.

Complete genius is the only thing that comes to mind upon your first bite! The biggest problem is choosing which menu item...they are all incredible! I have never had food that made me so happy before. I had the maximum tots and am ashamed to say went back for the crab tots...YES Crab!!! Real crab! They've got tacos and sandwiches too. If you happen to lucky enough to stumble across them, don't miss out! They're definitely catering my next event.

WOW!! Jae catered our wedding this April (2019), he is phenomenal. His food is AMAZING. Two days before the wedding I called him to see if he could have an extra serving tray for a vegan dish I was going to bring...he wouldn't have it. He said he would make sure to have vegan plates made up for my few guests. He insisted that I not have to do anything for/during the wedding. Jae and his staff are professional and were on top of everything. Great service, fantastic food, awesome staff!!! So many of our guests let me know what a great experience they had and how awesome the food was.

Jae catered our wedding in September, and we loved the food he made! We asked for a mix of "southern" and "Mediterranean" to fit our families background. It was a weird mix to ask for, but Jae pulled it off great.
He made an awesome fried chicken, mac n' cheese, corn bread, and brisket for the southern side and a grilled salmon, salad, and veggies for the mediterranean side. All the food was awesome. Our guests loved it!
The process was great too. Jae drove all the way to Hancock park to meet us and brought us a bunch of samples to taste. He made the process simple and

The only way I can explain how Jae and I met was by fate... This man and his team are so very talented, extremely helpful, and FUN to be around! Did I mention his food is DELISH!?! Being a planner, it is so important to know a reliable caterer I can refer my clients to, and Jae is one of those diamonds in the rough! Watch out world... Easy Street Catering Co. is ready to take over, and it's about to be delicious!
