Our students choose to attend FTHS for a variety of reasons, including wanting a smaller environment, having daily access to technology, preparing for college success, interest in multimedia, design, or the medical field. Our school is known for our talented teachers and signature programs, including our Renaissance program, BioScience Academy, DTech program, AVID, Speech and Debate, and Athletics.

Services
We have implemented a helpline for families with questions about devices, Wi-Fi, Q Connect, etc. Please choose one way to reach out to us (email or call). Please leave your first and last name, site your child attends, description of the problem/question, and a call back number or email address where you can be reached.
Students wishing to attend Foothill must complete the Ventura Unified "School of Choice" application and be selected from a random lottery to attend. The window of opportunity for application submission is listed above; applications are only accepted during that window. Applications are not available until the School of Choice applications window opens.
Foothill Technology High School staff and students work together to create an atmosphere of accountability and responsibility. Every student will make choices that demonstrate the values of accountability and prompt, consistent attendance. The FTHS policy is intended to promote attendance in class as the highest priority.
Foothill offers breakfast and lunch, as well as snack options, in our cafeteria located in Spirito Hall. 1. Please complete an online application for Free & Reduced Meals with Ventura Unified School District. One application per household only. Please list all household members. 4. If you are eligible for CALWORKS and/or CalFRESH you will already be listed and do not need to complete an application.
PFSO is the Parent Faculty Student Organization at Foothill Technology High School. Our mission is to support students and staff through fundraising as well as active volunteering and participation. We support students by providing funds for the science department, Speech & Debate, Cheers for Children, Grad Nigh, graduation, Care Network, senior gifts, and AP exams.
