Pool heating in South Florida and The Bahamas is definitely not unnecessary especially pools are in shade. Believe it or not we only have 5 good months (that last from May to September) of warm comfortable water per year to swim in. The following 7 months out of the year, from October to April, your pool is 65 to 75 degrees.
South Florida and The Bahamas has about 300 days of gloriously sunny days a year - which is perfect for a Solar Water System. Old-fashioned conventional electric water heaters have two heating elements, but solar hot water storage tanks have only one element, and it acts as a backup for those rainy gloomy days.
With a Grid Tie Solar System, you may Off-Set your electric bill. The produced electricity will be used by the loads in your home first, then the excess electricity will be sent back to the grid and you will be getting credit for it, measured by a Net-meter, which can be used during the night, and if there is any excess at the end of the year, it could be redeemed.

Lazlo came out on a Saturday,I called that morning and by the afternoon he was here. Fixed my issue with in an hour. Great service,so very impressed. Nice as can be and so responsive. I will use his company again as soon as I'm ready to upgrade my solar system or if any other problems occur. Thanks Lazlo!

Having fallen short a few times and taken for a ride by several local solar companies, I was skeptical when reaching out to TECA. However the experience couldn't have been better. Laszlo is very nice, honest, professional and does a great job. Lucky to have found a great local solar company I can trust. Very recommended.

I did an exhausting research before picking a contractor to install my home array. Most of the larger shops are pushing specific panels and inverters since this is in most cases another area of savings for them, as they negotiate bulk discounts but still pricing the system at retail rates to the customer. Teca is agnostic to the type of inverter and brand of panels - they will make recommendations, but will go with what the customer wants. They were really patient and worked with me, while dealing with getting a new roof put on, as part of an insurance claim. Everything was done up to code and by permit. Roofers said it was all being done correctly, in order to best protect the new roof (the way it SHOULD be done). I had them install a new water heater w/ panel, as well as pool solar panels. The work looks clean and so far so good. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable solar service.

Laszlo installed our solar hot water heater and pool heater without a hitch. Extremely knowledgeable and honest, courteous and hardworking. Even after the install, I called him regarding an issue I was having with my hot water, and he came almost immediately and fixed the problem, even though it turned out not to be related to the system he installed at all! I would definitely recommend them!
