I brought my car to Minas Transmission in Feb of 2020. I was given a list items that needed to be fixed that came to the amount of $3527.24. Within less than a weeks time I started to experience similar issues of stalling in idle and reverse. I brought my car back on March 2, 2020 (first available time) and was advised on March 4, I needed a new battery in the amount of $154.35. Within a few miles, the car again displayed the same issues and cut off twice when trying to make it home.
I called/emailed Minas Transmission in all instances immediately so that it could be formally documented.

Avoid like the plague. Dropped my car off to have transmission checked. The work they did: ran a computer scan. The amount they charged: $65.00. 10 minutes of "diagnostic" work for $65.00. They did not inform me before I left the keys that there would be a charge if no work was performed. Would recommend Advance Auto Repairs instead - great/honest/affordable service and they are upfront with everything. When I asked Sam why he didn't inform me of the $65 charge before I left the keys, he said "I didn't ask." - customer service at its finest.

This is the best place in the Orlando area that I've found so far. I have plenty of mechanic experience, so as you know I am always extra particular about where I take my car. They have an abundance of equipmnent for quick diagnostics, which reduces troubleshooting time and thus reduces total cost. They have yet to try to talk me into something that I know isn't part of the problem. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the Orlando area.
