So, as I walk in I am nervous right, don’t know what to expect. Then I get my name called by Raquel holding a gift for me. I felt like it was my birthday. They were very nice calling me babe it made me extremely comfortable. The Dr. gave me a whole history lesson on my problem which was nice. He was all about giving high fives and remembering his patients from my observation with other patients. I wasn’t in the chair for even 5 minutes before he stepped over and greeted me. It also wasn’t that professional greeting Drs normally give that are standoffish. It was like greeting a friend or someone

13 years ago when I got my braces taken off here, the technician took a good chunk of the enamel on one of my teeth along with the bracket. There was a loud popping sound. She said, "Oops!" and didn't say anything else, just paused for a long moment and then kept going about taking off the rest of the brackets. When I asked what happened, she said, "It's okay." At the time I was young, 23, and not especially assertive. Dr. Tahir checked me out and approved and I was on my way. I'd had no idea what had happened until I got home.

The service I received from Dr. Tahir and his team was extremely professional and well done. It was stress free from start to finish. The offices are very family friendly, clean, and professional. Most people think that braces are a painful experience however, I never felt that way. I highly recommend Dr. Tahir to anyone seeking an orthodontist. I consider him to be the best in Chicago. I was very pleased with my results and I know that I can always call if I have a problem. Before braces I was afraid to smile and also did not know how to smile. Dr. Tahir & his staff are absolutely awesome! He got my braces on & off in a year as promised while I was in high school. I have continued to see Dr. Tahir as needed with regards to retainers & maintaining my teeth alignment. He goes above & beyond for his patients! I can truly say this was one of the best investments I have ever made & frequently get comments about how great my teeth/smile are. I'm very grateful to have worked with Dr. Tahir!

Dr.Tahir is great to work with. They did a first class job treating my daughter. I like working with doctors who are decisive and not wishy-washy. Dr.Tahir explained what needed to be done now and how he will have to build some teeth to make them normal size after treatment is done. Everyone is friendly and office has high energy. Dr. Tahir is hands down the best no questions asked!! Paid in full because they gave me a great discount off of my braces which I only had for little over a year. Great staff who is very attentive and polite and the work they do is phenomenal. Unfortunately I didn’t wear my retainer but Dr.Tahir is re-doing my braces at a tremendous discount and even told me he’ll place in a permanent retainer to make my life easier! Very Much appreciated Dr.Tahir and would recommend him to anybody!

I will start by saying I am always on time to my appointments, as I was to this initial appointment. I had all paperwork completed and ready. The staff was friendly, the only reason for 1 star. I waited 40 minutes for someone to call my name for PAYMENT and then to tell me there were still 3 patients ahead of me, so at least an hour wait. What!?! Why make an appointment if they aren't even close to their scheduled time!?! I had read a previous review stating this was a problem and I wish I had taken the advise of that reviewer. While Dr Tahir may be amazing at what he does, I will never know

I'd like to start off by saying that I pretty much went on in life avoiding to smile in pictures, I was super embarrassed to show my teeth. I avoided certain shades of lipstick thinking it would only enhance the look of my horrible teeth.
One day I just went on google and typed "best orthodontist in the Chicago area", and there it was.. Dr. Tahir! I scheduled a free consultation and was given all the information needed. On the second visit I got my braces, from that point and on I gained confidence I started to smile in pictures, I seriously felt pretty cool! I was 27 years old I am now 32 years

I agree with all the reviews as far as the great work they do. My daughter's teeth are looking great so far and we can't wait for the final reveal of her braces being taken off. I would have given Dr. Tahir a much better rating but it truly bothers me that we get our appts with a month or so out and I leave work to get my daughter to her appts on time and yet somehow we still always have to wait atleast 40 minutes for her to be seen. If her appt it at 5:30 and we get there and check in at 5:10 why on earth is not seen until 6:00 p.m.? It happens almost everytime she has an appt. :(

I'm surprised this place doesn't have many reviews. It's like 50 people in the waiting room at all times so I would think this place would have millions of reviews. For being as busy as this practice is, the dentist is really cool. He is very knowledgeable, truthful and has bed manners. He has updated equipment and the front desk staff are good too. All in all the dentist does a great job and knows what he is doing.

The atmosphere within this office is phenomenal. Dr. Tahir, well as his staff is so professional and efficient. Every time I came to my appointment, they make sure to greet me. His team reflects off of him (very unified). Though some days are busy, he still took the time out to recognize any issues I had. Dr. Tahir will make sure you enjoy your journey with braces! Now that mines are off, I can finally show off his work of art! Once you get this experience you will never forget it. This man loves what he does!!! Go Tahir!!

I still get compliments about how nice my teeth (and jaw line )are by dentists and strangers. I got my braces at the age of 12 and now I am 28. I probably should go back there when I have my baby. I know that pregnancy can do some crazy stuff to the mouth. Dr. Tahir still remembered me the last time I came in when my permanent retainer broke (maybe 4 years ago). He even asked about my family by name. He probably wouldn't recognize my married name but remember my mouth and face. HA! He is very personable and friendly. He is a perfectionist but I wouldn't have it any other way when it comes

The facility is nice and clean. However I don't like seeing Dr Tahir for only 30 seconds per visit. Another problem is when I make or reschedule an appointment it's always a month away. If I make an appointment one month in advance, why do I have to wait for 1-2 hours when I get there on time? Why do you have a primary and secondary waiting room? I don't want to wait in your office all day. The girls at the front counter are in serious need of some manners. Also my kids have been going here for 3 years now, Fix the button on the arcade machine. Why do you have it there? To tease

I had it rough growing up. Glasses and fkd up teeth? Wow, it was rough. As an adult, I looked into getting braces. My bite was so bad that I was told I needed to have my jaw broken and realigned first. Seriously?!?! Then I found Dr Tahir. He reassured me that he could give me a great smile without the pain of having my jaw broken, cuz I mean, who would voluntarily do that?!?! I put my trust in Dr Tahir's hands and am so happy I did. Getting braces was a life changing experience for me.
