I think it's been two months maybe a little more. I am down 13lbs. It's taken a lot of hard work. I have loved all the classes I have tried.
I have paid more attention to what I am eating but the most important thing has been controlling portion size. Thank you Karen Linnekin Taitano for all you have done to help me and encourage me. Hi, I am Karen and I am a Zumba and Fitness fanatic! I absolutely love teaching Zumba. It has truly changed my life. I grew up taking classes in my grandmother's dance studio and I became a dance teacher at the young age of 12.

Yoga is a form of exercise that uses slow movements and stretching. It is good for increasing flexibility and balance. It is also good for relieving stress and relaxing. Yoga has been used as a meditation technique for thousands of years. As you exercise, you meditate on what your body is feeling and try to be "one with the universe."
Low Flow is a type of Aerial yoga that takes your movement closer to the mat. Low silk classes are characterized by restorative stretches, supported yoga postures, and playful movements. Low flow is great for beginners who are new to yoga and veteran yogis too. After a week of boot camp, cardio and weight training, aerial yoga is the best way to relax and have fun!
Karen is super passionate about helping as many people as possible live happier and healthier lives. She has helped 1000's of women get in shape fast and Transform their lives. My daughters and I bought a groupon of 4 classes so we could try aerial yoga. What a blast! The class had a mix of beginners and intermediate women and the instructor was able to teach to both skill levels. If you didn't understand the steps for a posture, she came over and gave one on one throughout the class. One hour went by so fast. It was so much fun that it has me considering joining the gym after my groupons are up. Give it a try and you won't be sorry!

Brickhouse is an awesome fitness studio. I participate in a number of different classes. Brickhouse has a variety instructors and classes, so you can get all your workout needs in one place. There are classes for cardio, strength (building and toning muscle), interval training, stretch and flexibility. (Zumba, Barre, Pure Strength, Step, Yoga, Ariel Yoga, RIPPED, etc. )They all offer fun and safe environments to really let go and focus on YOU.
Karen is an amazing instructor and owner. She really puts her all into the classes, instructors, and studio. Great club to belong to for complete wellness

If you are looking for a gym I recommend Brickhouse. The owner, Karen, is a great trainer, works at your level and knows when to push you without letting you give up. Every workout I felt like I could do more and push harder. It was not only the trainers that made the workouts fun but also meeting all the nice women who encouraged each other. I have been one that doesn't really work out, or I try for a month but then give up. In three months I lost 9 inches - now what does that mean? This past month I have had so many compliments from people asking if I lost weight, I tell them no but I am working

This place is super fun, friendly, and comfortable no matter your age or physical shape. All the equipment is in great shape, and the space is light, airy, cool, and welcoming. I always feel encouraged by the instructors and the regulars are really sweet and friendly! Karen, the owner, really cares about her clients and always checks in to see what people want, and to get their ideas about how to improve her services. The fact that Karen also teaches classes shows me that she is truly invested in this place.

I could not say enough good things about my experiences at Brickhouse Cardio Club! I recently worked with Karen to put together a private aerial yoga class and not only was she extremely accommodating, but she always responded in a timely manner. When it came to our class, Karen was patient and lighthearted. To be honest, some of the girls were skeptical about the class (as yoga is not their forte) but with Karen's assistance they were able to easily step out of their comfort zone and have a blast. I would highly recommend Brickhouse Cardio Club! Thank you again for everything Karen!

Run by an awesome, professional female entrepreneur who loves her work. The best part of being part of this club is the variety of classes offered here. Ranging from fun filled 'Zumba' to body sculpting 'Body Pump' (weight training). There are other classes too like Yoga, body combat etc. Great timing and great facility. I have been a member for 3-4 years now. Going here for workouts is one of my favorite part of the day.
